It is crucial to keep a comprehensive record of your check-in information. Exercise extra caution by documenting the property's condition at check-in with photographs and videos as evidence. In the event of any other issues, it is advisable to have a written record of communication via email. When checking out, make sure to keep detailed records of the property's condition upon departure as well. The more detailed, the better, as Savills' headquarters may request excessive cleaning fees and unreasonable repair costs. Drawing from my experience, I recommend standing your ground and taking the evidence to TDS. A fair adjudication will ensure you receive the justice you deserve. In my case, I got my full deposit back, and the landlord received no reward.

Kristina was very efficient at getting my rental paperwork sorted and finalizing the lease. As an international student/tenant doing everything online remotely (and being unfamiliar with the UK rental system!), she was very helpful and patient as she took me through the process. I'd highly recommend Savills for rentals.

Sad that a company with a trusted reputation is not more discerning about the landlords it is prepared to represent. I had the misfortune to rent a house for a year through Savills and was continuously strung along by the property management team who agreed to have items repaired but in certain cases never did. I heard from neighbours that previous tenants had the same treatment. Savills first priority was to generate letting fees and their loyalty lay firmly with an errant landlord. If this involved stretching the truth, then it appears their staff had no qualms about doing so. Renter beware!

Had Savills as an agent to buy a property in Goldhurst Terrace. Price was agreed with the seller, I paid the solicitor and agreed a mortgage, when they suddenly asked me to raise the price again.. apparently someone else came in with a higher bid after my offer was already accepted... Disastrous experience, untrustworthy agent..
