I instructed the Savills Stamford branch to handle the sale of my apartment as, of the three estate agents that I initially contacted to discuss my position and requirements, only James at Savills really went out of his way to help and to answer my queries.Whilst I knew that, in the current climate, I would need to be realistic about price, Savills achieved a quick sale for me and, very importantly, a very speedy completion. I think that many people underestimate the importance of the time and work that goes into ensuring that an initial 'yes' finally results in a sale going through to completion. Savills is ok but it's just the frontPutting one star simply because of the subprovider used by Savill's for referencing checks - LettingsHub.Worst experience ever and lot of new grey hair thanks to that one.If Savills wants to improve their service they must take care of the image constituted by the whole end-to-end process they drive their customers through, not just by the fancy front.

Savilles live in the dark ages. They act as if renting you a property is a personal favour and they have no obligations or commitments as landlords. Their staff only seem to work when it suits them and forget about getting repairs done. In my experience they are dishonest and fickle. It's a club for poor toffs. If you want lies and your information sold on to credit check companies go with Savilles.

Savills Melbourne: Was buying a property with Savills and they guilted me into "we are experts, there is no cladding". It was - which made the bank rejecting the mortgage. However, Savills State director told to "never contact again" while refusing to refund my deposing for the property. It was subject to finance and they must, but was told "will be more expensive for you to go to the court". It was all my savings for my 1st property, I left traumatized. They still keep all my money and unresponsive.

Sometimes you get involved in a complicated chain which involves other transactions and other agents, some of whom still engender the stereotype often levied at this profession. Daniel Omell at Savills Hampstead managed the process with professionalism and candour, getting the 5 property chain to exchange when it probably would not have happened if left to the other agents in the transaction.

Very unprofessional! We are thankful that we aren’t renting from this company. We were interested in a property in Aberdeenshire. The agent couldn’t care less about our interest - makes promises and then doesn’t communicate. Therefore, they have lost our custom.Should have known something wasn’t right as when we went to view the property she didn’t turn up as she was “in meetings” and we could get the keys from the shed!
