Terrible, provided wildly different quotes for repairs, delayed work indefinitely. Lied to me on at least three occasions. When I called to complain fobbed me off. So disorganized that different agents gave me different stories on the same problem.

GoogleNew Tenant required Quickly & Refurbishments required Quickly. Charlotte did an excellent job to organise several things quickly for me, with changes and revisions. She kept me notified of updates and status. Also, managed to set a record for finding a new tenant of just 24 hours.

GoogleBought a property through Romans recently and they were very good. Lyndon Farrar and Alison Savva in particular deserve a special mention! Lyndon did a great job helping me secure the house I really wanted despite strong competition from elsewhere, going the extra mile to make it work. Alison did a great job in moving things through to exchange of contracts, always helpful whenever I called, and very good at co-ordinating the various parties to bring it all together. GoogleAs a potential buyer I've found Romans to be one of the best in the area. Good knowledge of the properties and the positions of the sellers. Good communication, concise voicemail messages and to date always a prompt return call if I've not got through first time (which is rare). I've found other Estate Agents not having any in depth knowledge about some of the properties and either overbearing or underwhelming to talk to. Romans have been different and have excelled our expectations.

Please heed the advice from every other tenant that has left a review for Romans and avoid them at all costs. They are incredibly unprofessional and operate on the edges of legality. They haven’t a clue what they are doing, treat all tenants as if they are criminals, are aggressive, downright rude and if we never have to do business with them again it will be too soon. Please, you don’t need this stress in your life.

We are looking to buy a house in Maidenhead - have looked at well over 20 properties, and have found Romans to be one of the best. They are on time (which apparently is not a given!). Davina Dobe, who has been showing us around, is friendly, not at all pushy, but enthusiastic and knowledgeable. And she really got us - and so knew just what to show us next. So have been really impressed.
