Sales agent not particularly honest when it comes to property's included facilities. Don't even respond to official DPS request to return deposit. Have caused nothing but trauma and problems since day one.

TrustpilotDisappointing and illegal
Went with Martin and Co I few years back.They lied on the terms of the contract about the electric bill. Three years later I get hit with a CCJ after they falsified information. I've successfully fought them in court and won now. They also refused to return deposit and this was lies as well.

Had no trouble with Martin and Co until recent horrible experiences with a property manager at the Worcester branch, who has been sending emails with threatening language regarding extra bills (for damages not pertaining to our household). The property manager ought to take responsibility rather than bullying the residents into doing his job.

Totally gone down hill Useless. The workers are zero bothered. Never answer phone/emails. Extremely zero motivation .Sellers avoid this even if they have zerofees.

DishonestUntrustworthy Inconsistent communicationNo property management actually carried out, damage never reported, structural problems, mould everywhere - much much more but can’t be bothered to list it all. Just want to warn people to stay far away from these unprofessionals.

They dont help with complaints at all. You can call up, email, go in to their office and they'll act all nice, say they're going to fix what you want but they never will. They're terrible. I've rented many houses with other estate agents in the past but they are by the far the worst.

Awful service from start to finish. Numerous issues with the property, including mold on windows and doors, security gate never working, broken buzzer and intercom. We’ve now been out of the property for 3 weeks and no sign of any of the deposit being returned. Avoid at all costs.

Liars. Unprofessional. Useless. Landlords should NEVER use this Agency as they only do 'ad hoc' duties for the Managment Contract and do not care about the standard of the property nor the Tenant(s). Their Beeston Office (NG9) is SHEET!

Worst agent I've ever rented with. Very poor service. I have rented a property managed by Martin and co and can say that this is the worst experience I've ever had with an agent. Customer service is absolutely terrible. Staff are incompetent and unresponsive. Worst agent ever. Do not recommend at all. Avoid at all costs.

I am a landlord. Evicted my tenant without my knowledge, and have then been trying to charge me for this service ever since. Rarely answer the phone, and do not call back after leaving a message. They used to be really good up until they where taken over a few years ago.

Terrible service from Gosport Branch. Tenant hasn't paid rent for 2 months, Gosport lettings team not returning calls to let me know what's happening, I have to constantly call for updates. Tenant doesn't pay council tax, I recieve letters when Gosport should be dealing with this. It is unbelievable. Use another agency for sure!

Absolutely terrible. Please do not use CHELSEA Reach Branch. Staff incompetent. Owner arrogant and rude. Totally unprofessional. I have taken them to the ombudsman and won compensation, that is how bad they have been. Collected keys and let themselves into my property, without my permission, when the contract between us had finished.

My experience with Martin-co has been hell.One stuff was swearing whilst discussing an issue and being disrespectful.I have never experienced such treatment unprofessional behaviour.No response from the team.
