They managed more than one of my properties and rarely was I impressed with their service. More often than not I was gobsmacked at how useless they are.

We are unable, from the details within your comments, to understand which office you dealt with and the specifics of your dissatisfaction. After a one year tenancy we had one blind that needed replacing, of which they decided it was fair to charge £137 for a £26-£30 bedroom blind.For three lightbulbs £72. I don’t know what lightbulbs those are, but I don’t think you can pay £15 per lightbulb (3 to change in total).I am currently still waiting to receive my deposit, after 17 days.

Very good experience selling my flat in London. It was a leasehold with some works happening, so not the most straightforward sale but very satisfied with the service provided by the Kennington branch. They were respectful of my tenants when arranging viewings and kept me updated during the negotiation and contracting process, helping to chase the buyer when necessary. Would recommend.

Communication was almost non-existent and what communication there was, was often proved to be wrong. The whole process was stressful and painful!

If you’re looking for arrogance, ignorance and incompetence all in one place you’ll find it at Forest Hill Winkworths.
At Winkworth we are always disappointed to receive a review such as yours and I am sorry to hear of your personal experiences. All of the Winkworth Offices are independently owned and operated. We understand you have dealt with our Forest Hill office, however without a name we cannot find you on the system in order to assist. Useless service.....they always work for the seller...as they know they are getting paid from them....if you are dealing with then as a buyer dont get caught in ther phone calls of .....ohhh the buyer prefera you and all that crapdo your research and always bid the lowest possible...as these winkworth people will suck the blood out of you if they can

After claiming to do some of the most thorough due diligence on prospective buyers, we had over 50 tyre-kickers through our house. The worst bit was that, once the commission had been paid to Winkworths Forest Hill/New Cross Gate, we haven't even had a text or email to say thank you. Appalling.
