GoogleBrilliant service from start to finish from the Buxton branch, in particular a massive thanks to Emma! She has been outstanding throughout the difficult and at times tedious sale of our flat and went above and beyond to keep the sale moving. Couldn’t recommend her and Bury and Hilton enough, it’s very refreshing to actually find someone who cares and wants to do their best for you.

GoogleI could not recommend Emma enough at Bury and Hilton! She has gone above and beyond for my house sale. She has been in regular contact and is willing to chase anything you need. She is informative and most importantly honest when it comes to all aspects of the sale. Emma genuinely cares and tries to make the process as easy as possible. My house sold within a couple of weeks of going on the market! Thank you for everything you have done!

GoogleI highly rate Bury and Hilton estate agent. The way they dealt with the sale of my house was excellent. I mainly dealt with Emma. She always dealt promptly with any queries I had kept me updated the whole time. She also chased up solicitors and buyers. It was our first time dealing with all the paperwork which we found confusing and she took the the time to help us understand it all. GoogleI bought my property in Buxton through Bury and Hilton back in December, dealing mostly with Lindsay Johnson. Throughout the entire process, which at times presented what seemed like insurmountable problems, Lindsay kept me calm, explained everything perfectly well and showed great patience and understanding. I am now settled and very happy here and will always be grateful to her and the rest of the team. I recently met Lindsay again at another viewing I attended with a friend and once more, her friendliness and professionalism shone through.

GoogleI’d wholeheartedly recommend Bury and Hilton. The solicitors were painfully slow with their communication but Emma was fantastic, acting as the middle person between ourselves and the sellers. She really took a lot of the stress away.

GoogleI called in advance to reschedule my viewing and when I arrived at the viewing, the agent, Emma, did not even introduce herself and was extremely cold and rude throughout. She gave the vibe that she could not care less whether or not the property sold. I was so put off the experience that I passed up on the property. Please prioritise customer service as you are working in a people-oriented business.
Hi 'T', Thankyou for your google review. Emma here, and i am somewhat shocked by your review, as i always introduce myself on viewings. It seems you have a completely different view to the viewing as what i recall happened on the viewing. You called to re arrange your viewing prior to the one we had booked in which i accommodated, however you then turned up 20 minutes late. (i had to call you to see if you were still coming) I got out of my car and introduced myself then took you round the property. We went over several options for the property, we stood outside and had a chat where i answered lots of your questions including giving you directions to amenities around the local village. GoogleBury & Hilton was chosen at random from the estate agents in Buxton. Thank goodness we did! Emma has been brilliant! A combination of courtesy, kindness and above all professionalism. We are out of area, so much was left in Emma's capable hands and boy were they needed, as what should have been a straight forward sale with no chain turned out to be a 6 month horror story of problems and others incompetence. GoogleEmma at Bury and hilton oversaw the sale of my late mother's property in Buxton. Obviously this was a difficult time for myself and I had a lot of emotional connection to the property. The professionalism and courtesy shown by Emma and the rest of the team was outstanding and despite some people putting offers in then messing us around Emma sold the house for a fair price in a difficult time.
