GoogleI had a good experience for over 4 years at the property I was renting through Lets rent Cambridge, Nicola was always very polite and friendly, as well as strict and accurate when informing the landlords after the visits, always with transparency reporting the property condition and any alterations I had performed. Overall a very good service for landlords and nice to tenants too. I would recommend.

GoogleReview Submitted on 21 October 2025 I had a very disappointing experience with this letting agency. After vacating the apartment, I was subjected to an unreasonable deduction of £380 from my deposit for cleaning services that were clearly unnecessary. I had thoroughly cleaned the property before leaving, and even had it inspected by friends and neighbours who confirmed its good condition. I also provided photographic and video evidence showing the state of the apartment both at move-in and move-out, including pre-existing issues such as carpet decolorization, a tattered mat near the washing machine, and limescale on the taps. Despite this, the agency proceeded with cleaning services seemingly for their own satisfaction, and withheld a significant portion of my deposit. To make matters worse, the return of the remaining deposit was delayed, causing financial strain as I had just moved into a new place and needed the funds for resettlement. This experience felt unfair and poorly handled, and I would caution others to be vigilant when dealing with this agency. I have shared the pictures of the apartment in which state I left. I believe, this would be a proof for others to insure that all above statements are true. Follow-up on 22 October 2025 I appreciate the agency’s response to my public review, which came quicker than replies to my private emails. During my tenancy, I consistently communicated in good faith and reported issues promptly, though some took over 10 days to be resolved. I maintained the property with minimal furniture and kept it in good condition, as confirmed during periodic inspections. The checkout letter stated the deposit would be returned within 10 days, but this timeline was not met, and I had to follow up multiple times. This delay caused me financial inconvenience, as I had commitments dependent on receiving the deposit. The situation was embarrassing and could have been avoided had the agency adhered to its own timeline. Regarding the cleaning invoice dated 15 October 2025, I would appreciate confirmation that no other tenant occupied the property between 2 October and 15 October. I respectfully challenge the cleaning charge and have supporting evidence available, including: 1. Video documentation of the apartment’s condition at move-in and move-out. 2. The property being listed for rent on Rightmove the same day I vacated, suggesting it was in a presentable state. 3. Feedback from a neighbour who viewed the move-out photos and expressed interest in renting the apartment. I would `request you to share any photographic evidence from your side to support the cleaning claims, nor a response to my previous email. Ishan, in response to your review we need to make the following points:- We advised you yesterday that we would respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours, but unfortunately you have made the decision to place a review. Deductions from deposits are made when the property is not maintained by the tenant. Despite early advice from us you did not maintain the property to a satisfactory standard which has left us with no alternative to get it professionally cleaned. This has been done and the cost deducted from your deposit. Costs of this nature cannot be bourn by the agency or the landlord as they are the tenants responsibility. GoogleWe were tenants for 15 months and during that time Lets Rent were great. We sold our house and needed to move in earlier than planned and Jo and the landlord were fantastic and arranged for us to have the house earlier which saved a lot of hassle. Lets Rent always gave us notice of visits and were respectful when checking the property. Jo and Beverley are both really lovely to chat to and always incredibly helpful. We’ve recently left the property, again earlier than planned as we’ve bought another house, and Jo and Lets Rent have great for our move out. Would recommend them if you’re tenants and I imagine they’re just as good for landlords too.

GoogleJo and her team have been running my flat for me for over 5 years now, and as a landlord I can highly recommend their services. They are super efficient and proactive in all aspects of managing the flat - finding (and keeping!) tenants, managing or suggesting repairs or maintenance, handling the paperwork etc. It is a real pleasure to work with them and they always reply to any queries super quickly which I really appreciate. I have worked with other agents and the service I get from Lets Rent is incomparable.

GoogleFrom the moment I met Jo I knew she was the agent I wanted - and I had interviewed several! Such a refreshing change to find an agent who is personable with both landlord and tenant and who really does what she says she will do. Lets Rent Cambridge manages two properties for me since I moved abroad over a year ago and has done so with efficiency and professionalism. Invoices are correct and regular, repairs are carried out speedily, with full consultation as to the best cost estimate, and great care is taken to find suitable tenants. This is the best agent I have ever come across and I have been letting property for twenty five years. Full marks to the team and long may they continue in business!

GoogleLet's Rent offer a fantastic service and I highly recommend them. I have let with several agents over the years and have been delighted with Let's Rent since I moved a few years ago. A friendly, personal service and owners who look after the tenants not just the landlords: our most recent tenants had to put up with some inconvenience because of a failed gutter. At the end of the tenancy I saw the note which they had left on the table for Let's Rent thanking them for all that they had done. Glad to see so many other 5* references and astonished by the single 1* one - I think they must have been talking to another company.

GoogleIt has been an immense pleasure to work with Jo from Lets Rent Cambridge. We have had no trouble whatsoever renting a property from them, the process was really smooth. Jo has always been available in times of emergency- on one fine Sunday morning, we had accidentally locked ourselves out of the house, and had contacted her, she went out of the way to provide assistance and for that we are ever grateful. She has been very accommodating while we were moving in the property, and even as we are now moving out. We would highly recommend Lets Rent Cambridge for tenancy purposes, and we would love to work with them again in the future, they are the best!

GoogleUntil recently, I'd been renting with Nicola for years, and with Lets Rent since the company's inception. I would highly recommend them for their reliable, friendly service. Whatever problems arose with the house they sorted out promptly and without fuss. With this experience in mind, I honestly can't imagine how the ridiculously negative reviews posted here can be real - I'd suggest ignoring them.
