Had a good experience with Radcliffe office after a hiccup with incorrect initial info. Once Jenine took the lead all was smooth sailing. At times they went out of there way to give me progress updates. Sale took a while but that was the house not the estate agents.

I have never experienced such poor treatment in all my life. As a tenant for over 5 years who looked after the home and never created any issues to be treated the way I was is disgusting. Definitely all about the money and not the client! The only reason I moved was because the landlord wanted to sell. This company wanted me out asap so they could sell it quickly (in which it did). It was a beautiful family home and left in good condition. To top it off they also wanted to keep the whole deposit in which the deposit protection service disagreed and gave me back my whole deposit. Says a lot to me. Very disappointed!

After a year and a half of being the perfect tenant, I left my home to find a “for sale” sign in front of my house. They hadn’t bothered to tell me. Jon Simon as a letting agency will follow all legal rules and boundaries. But when it comes to human decency, respect, kindness and following ethical and moral law, they flounder and don’t. I found a new home to rent due to the uncertainty of my new situation of having potential viewers look at my home and it being sold, and they promptly pasted a “for rent” sign over the “for sale” sign. The landlord wanted money coming in despite wanting to sell. I moved into that home with three children wanting a long term rent. They even told me I could decorate, with it being a long term rental. Gd knows what they told the next tenants. I vacated the property paying for an extra day to make sure I left it perfect. I cleaned the oven, hoovered etc. They didn’t inspect the property for over a week until I left, delaying things. They ignored my phone calls and emails. Eventually after I called them yet again, I was told rudely that I left the property unclean. I remember moving into the property to find nails on the bathroom floor and grease in the kitchen where there was no seals. They requested £150 to be taken off my deposit. Warning to all prospective tenants. Unless there is a commission involved, these people will show you nothing but ignorance and zero respect. I trained in counselling and social work to masters level before I became a single mother looking after children including a child with a disability. These people see only a single mum on benefits who has no value at all. Despite me never having missed a months rent and having kept the house perfect. (I had inspections every 6 months). It’s both karma and irony that I’m currently the best bet for any landlord in the current climate, and that money greedy, ignorant sales people such as these will be the ones to loose money. Suffice to say, I would never rent from Jon Simon agency again, and I urge people to think very carefully before doing so.

i have lived in one of their properties for the last year. the day i moved in i had a fungus starting to grow in the 2nd bedroom in the property i told the office about it and 1 year on i am still waiting for someone to come and get rid of it at the same time i told them that my oven was not working so instead of sending an engineer out they came round themselves seen the fan was spinning and declared it ok. i have a 20 month old child that i see on weekends i have been unable to set a cot up in his room due to the fungi growing in there. My bedrooms decor is sarting to peel away because of damp i am still waiting on the guy to come and see it to diagnose the problem 8 months after he phoned me with a time and date. Im meant to pay£475 pcm for service where i am being ignored on a constant basis my land lady is meant to live in South Africa but is in the uk more than she lets on. I apparently have a problem with my boiler too that was apparently diagnosed whilst i was out 3 months ago to this date nobody has been in contact with me over the issue and i was told not to use it well if i did not use it i would not see my child full stop for the last year we have been living on microwave meals and i have been unable to cook him good healthy meals. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT LEASING A PROPERTY FROM THIS SHOWER OF WANNABE ESTATE AGENTS PLEASE THINK TWICE AS ANY COMPLAINT U HAVE WILL NO DOUBT COME TO NOTHING OR WILL BE IGNORED

We have bought a number of properties through Jon Simon and they also manage our portfolio. The whole team are very professional and keep us informed at all times. I have used other agencies that promise a great service but just don't deliver. Jon Simon do. Lee and Liam always communicate with us and do a great job of finding good tenants and just as good a job keeping them happy and in the properties. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

They found an interested party quickly and without fuss, qualified interest before arranging viewings and then took care of all of the vetting prior to completion. The dealt with the DPS in relation to the deposit without any fuss. Liam's communication is outstanding and he is always on hand to answer queries.

Absolute joke this estate agents. Expecting tenants to put new carpets in a house that we've lived in for 2 years with damp, single glazed Windows and a very dangerous garden. Got a baby on the way and they expect me to pay £410 for new carpets that haven't got anything wrong with them. Disgusting service from them. How people rate them I dont know ���
