We recently completed on a house via JS with James who was an absolute pleasure to work with, he was recommended to us by a friend and we would in turn recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new house. Very professional, friendly, helpful and made himself available even at the awkward times we needed which we really appreciated! James greeted us with a bottle of champagne when we came to collect the keys which was a lovely touch.

Brilliant service as a purchaser.

I have recently purchased a property which was being marketed by Jackson-Stops. The agent I dealt with was very friendly, he arranged viewings quickly and was very attentive during the whole process- helping me with any queries I had along the way. Upon completion, he delivered the house keys to me so I could continue packing and also gave me a bottle of champagne as a congratulations gift. Excellent service as a purchaser- I would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell their house.

Having dealings with three of the Jackson Stopps,regional offices Burford /Norfolk/and most recently Chelmsford. I can honestly say,every member of the staff in all branches have been more than helpful,and pleasant. Estate agents having,what is usually a well deserved reputation,we have not once come upon any of that condescending attitude,which has become expected,of the breed ! In fact our most recent experience , with James at the Chelmsford branch ,we feel he has become like a family friend to us,which of course makes the whole experience (moving home being one of life ‘s most stressful times),so much more pleasant. All told,we would definitely recommend the company to friends and family.GPS

Professional, proactive, courteous

When I bought my property in Buckland in 2007, I was so impressed by Jackson-Stops Dorking that I vowed to sell via them when the time came in late 2020. I did consult other agencies but didn't find them convincing. I didn't need them to "gush" over my property but I did want them to be enthusiastic and this is where I felt JS had the edge. The staff are knowledgeable, courteous, lively, pragmatic and savvy; they priced the house correctly and managed the offers that came in professionally. My expectations were managed throughout the process. As the sale was linked to a divorce, there were several hurdles, all of which JS managed with good humour. And they even managed to find my next home! They let me know the minute a perfect cottage came onto the market in right area. JS don't just sell property, they guide the customer through the process. If you are looking for a professional firm that employs experts staff then you should look at Jackson-Stops.

WOBURN OFFICE Whilst maybe not directly the fault of the Company they were acting as the agent for a property I viewed. I was contacted at 1pm to be told the Landlord wanted to accept us as tenants and all the referencing paperwork would be conpleted after giving my family the good news I was emailed by the agent to say " actually they might now be offering it to a farmhand who lives local and doesnt need any of the maintenance sorting but will let you know" After a few follow up emails I got a response to say "sorry they are letting the other person have it"As potential tenants letting Agents do a lot of quite intrusive checks before even approaching a landlird, perhaps the same thoroughness should be applied before taking on Landlords.In the space of 24 hours we went from delight to bitter dissapointment which shouldnt happen.

The Tunbridge Wells branch has managed my property for several years. They have done this extremely well. The experience has been courteous and professional, staff always available; tenants have been looked after and quickly replaced once they leave; maintenance is attended to quickly with minimum fuss; and rent has been paid-on within a couple of days of receipt.
