We bought a house at the other end of the country, through Starkings and Watson. We found them reliable, helpful, straightforward and efficient even through difficult times. During our house hunting, Starkings and Watson were much quicker to respond to our enquiries than other local estate agents and more professional. That was important because we had to view several properties in one day as we were visiting from Yorkshire. When it came to buying and selling, we found ourselves in a chain of seven and it took seven months. Throughout that time they stayed in touch, giving us regular updates, despite a change of staff. I believe that our own estate agents and Starkings and Watson prevented the chain from falling apart, as most of the other estate agents in the chain were very difficult to get hold of. We were even able to give our buyers information that they couldn't get from their own estate agent! Liz at the Bungay office was particularly helpful and excellent at chasing people up, even though I don't believe it was actually her responsibility! A calm head in a stressful time, many, many thanks to Liz and the team. We couldn't have wished for a better service and would highly recommend them!

I recently bought a property through Starkings & Watson. Everyone i spoke to was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I would particularly like to thank Liz and Will who i felt bent over backwards to support me all the way through my purchase. I was constantly updated. Solicitor issues and processes were clearly explained when i didn't understand and when things didn't seem to be going so well or as fast as an impatient person like me would like. Liz and Will reassured me that everything was ok and did everything they could to get things moving immediately after my conversations with them i.e. speaking to the vendor and chasing solicitors. Upon arriving at the viewing we were greeted by Martin who was lovely and enthusiastic showing us around, he sold the house as much as the house sold itself! We bought a property that was marketed by Starkings and Watson (Bungay office). From first contact to completion we were blown away by the commitment and communication of all the staff. Everybody we spoke to was professional, responded rapidly to questions and returned calls when they said they would. Will Crawford was exceptional and provided a better service to us than our own estate agent. We welcomed the almost weekly updates via email which kept us abreast of how the chain was progressing.
