Late to write my review but we completed in April and everyone at Hilton & Locke provided a high level of professional service at all stages of the sale. Many thanks to Kendal for all her patience and always answering our queries, Calum for helping liaise with the seller towards the end to wrap up final queries and Kirsty for pushing the sale forwards. Even when conducting the viewings, we were left to explore the house with a good amount of privacy to talk between ourselves instead of being closely followed everywhere which we very much appreciated when compared to other estate agent viewings! This was our first home purchase and after hearing about other's negative experiences with other estate agents, we cannot say we had anything but a very positive experience with everyone at Hilton & Locke. Great Team here at Hilton King & Locke. We viewed many properties with them until our perfect one came up! Kendall was super friendly and helpful throughout the process. The entire HKL team and in particular Kristy had gone above and beyond on quite a time-sensitive/complicated transaction which involved a complex chain. The staff were all very helpful although I regret accepting the recommendation of the firm of solicitors to use which was from our lack of experience, not having moved in 38 years. The solicitor allocated was almost impossible to reach and the advice was often not helpful. This added to the stress and uncertainty when selling and buying. There were times when we were considering pulling out although now we have completed and moved we are very happy but had certainly underestimated how difficult the process would be.

Jade from HKL recently worked on our house move and was an absolute star throughout. We had a troubled time with our first buyer pulling out last minute, but Jade managed to secure a second buyer and push the sale through so we could retain the house we were buying. Our buyer’s solicitors were a bit useless (and ours didn’t exactly set the world aflame either) so Jade was instrumental in getting the job done. Having had a somewhat lengthy sale process the Iver team seem like a part of our extended family. The whole team are professional, polite and will always deliver on what they say. Having started the sale process just before COVID we dealt with Leigh During the first lockdown, he was helpful and would work all hours responding to emails- he carried out the valuation/marketing of our property and has made the process easy. We then dealt with Amy who again, is polite is always happy and will always respond to any queries.
