We’ve just bought a house in Brockenhurst where Hayward Fox have acted for the vendors. There was a great deal of interest in the property and the HF team were accessible, communicative and ultra-professional throughout the transaction. In particular, Darren handled the whole process extremely well and did a great job of looking after his clients’ best interests while giving potential buyers a fair opportunity to view and make offers. Our family has worked in the property, commercial investment and estate agency profession for over 40 years and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Hayward Fox to potential clients.

Darren has been exceptional. My partner and I have today got the keys to an awesome family home that Darren has guided us through every step of the way. A long, confusing purchase due to seller complications but Darren explained it all well. Not your typical salesman broker - he’s a real decent chap who shows a genuine interest. Many thanks to Chris Hayward and his team at Hayward Fox for selling our home; a task we made more challenging by being in Chile. From the first meetings and valuation with Chris, he and his staff were straightforward and excellent at keeping in touch and updating (even with 6 hours time difference), and we particularly appreciate all the help with dealing with the practical issues with the house that arose in our absence, a special round of applause for Lorraine and Alison for going well beyond the call of duty, and also the help with legal questions that Darren is most efficient at steering one in the right direction. Darren is very good at updating once an acceptable offer has been made and keeping the process of selling moving along as smoothly as possible in the face of hurdles that can arise. After a few years of disagreement because my wife wanted to downsize and I wasn’t ready for it, I finally gave in at the age of 78 and started get serious about looking for a smaller home a few months ago. Having got Hayward Fox to market our house twice in the past three years before getting cold feet and pulling out, I have to say that Darren has been incredibly patient with me. We all know buying houses is very stressful, but the team at Hayward Fox in Brockenhurst made it as simple and easy as I could hope.
