Rude customer service, inflexible, they'll only book an appointment the night before and will only call between the hours of 8-2. So difficult to deal with. If I were you I'd find a company that is much easier to do business with.

As a house buyer i would never advise anyone to sell through Connells. I have enquired about three diferent properties with three different branches. Each time there was no one available from the sales team, left my details and was never called back. Absolute waste of time.

A company that is not trustworthy, I have a problem with the recovery of the deposit, despite the fulfillment of all conditions of the contract, Connells avoids the return of the deposit unless it is necessary to visit a lawyer.Stay alert when interacting with Connells.

Connell lettings are useless.. They only care about their interests and have no regard or respect for tenants. I live in a lovely house but most of the maintenance issues are sort3d directly with my landlords . Connels Complete basket case who ignore letters and correspondence

Cancelled valuation appointment 2 hours before pre-arranged time, by email. Called to ask why the appointment had been cancelled, apparently it was the responsibility of another office to contact us, they didn't. Complete waste of time.Don't even deserve 1 star.

Absolutely shocking. DO NOT USE CONNELLS. Nobody can get hold of them for updates. They recommend solicitors who are without doubt the worst in the business, guessing they get a significant commission for the recommendation. Use at your peril.

poor customer service as local branch staff (colchester) does not even make any effort to ratify their mistake which has caused the landlord not receiving her rent for 5 months. Very inconsiderable and unprofessional, not worth for the fee that they are charging

Advertise properties at an undervalued price to start a closed bidding war between interested parties. Unhelpful staff that give you no guidance and reject your offer with no explanation given. Disgraceful way to treat to prospective purchasers.

Do not use Connels to let your property. They are completely incompetent and treat your tenants like rubbish. I have been waiting to get something fixed through them for months, and they won't let me talk to my tenants directly!I'm taking my business elsewhere.
