We have been tenants through Young Lee for several years (since 2021) and we highly recommend Susan. She has been our point of contact and Property Manager for two different properties and she is truly brilliant. Susan is very professional and responsive and has helped us solve various maintenance issues over the years, always finding fair solutions with the landlords. I think the reason i stayed in that flat for so long was partially down to the great service and support i received during my time there. Just ended our 3 year tenancy with Young Lee. Checking out of a tenancy can be a stressful process for both tennant and letting agent however Susan Biddulph was a star. There was confusion over appliance ownership due to how long the property had been rented but by maintaining an open dialogue Susan was able to resolve the issues by putting in some additional work for us. Other agents I've rented from have fought tooth and nail to find fault and charge fees for all kinds of Wear and tear. I expected another battle but there was none. I was renting a lovely property in the Brighton’s North Laines through Young Lees for nine months and have nothing but good things to say about them as an agency. They are incredibly communicative, friendly, and willing to help with any issues with the property. We received almost all of our deposit back when we left, this is largely due to the advice and support of their staff throughout the moving process. If you plan to rent through Young Lees you can rest assured that they will help you get the deposit back if you make the effort to seek their advice in preparing the property. The house was gorgeous and reasonably priced in comparison to other properties in the area. It was fitted with new carpets, decking and in a fantastic location too. There were no unexpected inspections or disputes throughout the tenancy, honestly its been stress free from start to finish. Getting the deposit back is great too. I would thoroughly recommend this agent to anybody looking for a property in Brighton, or a property owner looking to rent out their house. They seemed to really care about the property we were in. I lived in the flat that i rented via Young Lee for 5 years. The Young Lee team were very kind to me from the beginning. I had some issues regarding the flat and they did their best to help me, especially Juliette, Susan and Emily. Last month i had to move from my flat to my partner's house. Juliette was so helpful with the process. She got back to me quickly even during the lockdown. I got my deposit back with no problem. Definitely i will contact them should i rent or buy a house! We've been renting through Young Lee for a year and half now and the service they offer has been amazing. Any contact we have with them is truly professional and issues are dealt with swiftly. We recently had a leak which flooded from our bathroom into our kitchen (two days before Xmas!) and we were left with no lights, heating, hot water...or toilet. Within less than two hours of reporting it to them Parkway Plumbers were here, got our power back on safely and our boiler back up and working as it too had been damaged by the flooding. I've never experience such a quick response rate from letting agents before and Sue has great customer service skills and I believe really cares for her clients and their needs. I'd highly recommend letting through them.

So far the best letting agency I have had in Brighton (UK). In my experience, some letting agencies tend to have poor behaviors with tenants and can cause troubles especially to busy people. However, so far, Young Lee has proven themselves professionals and helpful. I only had one minor issue with a mid term inspection scheduling for which the specific staff did not check my answer email, hopefully this won't happen again in the future. But again, everything else was really good and they seems also very quick, which is very much appreciated.
