We had a very positive experience with Danny at Raymond Beaumonts. He was upbeat and positive and helped us with the marketing of our house and we received an offer on the open day. He worked very hard to kick start the sales process. We hit a few of the usual bumps in the road and Danny remained calm and steered the sale to the right conclusion. We were in our new home in four months which feels pretty good going these days when you are in a chain. Beaumonts offers years of estate agent experience and we found the whole team knowledgeable and dedicated to the Fiveways area in Brighton. They’re not the showiest agent in the area but we liked them more for that. There’s no flannel, only professionalism. They understand that selling your home can be a very emotional experience. If you want a safe pair of hands to help you sell your house, then Danny is your man.

I rented a lovely flat in Brighton through Beaumonts for just over a year and Graham could not have been more helpful. I was travelling for work and then for a holiday, making the application and checking phase a bit more tricky, but Graham communicated clearly throughout and worked with my availability (and atrocious South African phone signal). The whole way through the tenancy, all my enquiries and reports of any faults were dealt with quickly and appropriately, and any questions I had were answered. Getting things wrapped up at the end of the tenancy was an easy process. Overall a really positive experience with an estate agents who actually take the time with you as a tenant. This long overdue 5 star review for Danny at Beaumonts will hopefully make up for the delay in posting it. Six months ago we went to view our dream countryside pile - the first and only we viewed. Two days later we put our house on the market with Beaumonts shortly before Christmas 2024. Three months later we moved into our beautiful Cottage and Danny was nothing short of brilliant. If you’re selling your house this might be a good estate agent but it’s terrible for that want to rent. Unhelpful to say the least! Had to call 3 times just to be told I have to apply via Rightmove before they will discuss a property. Did that waited 4 days for a call back - rang back just to be told that property is gone. May I suggest you remove let agreed properties from Rightmove. Also what about some follow through on promises ….just a thought!

Discriminatory practices against freelancers. Draconian contracting. Health and safety issues in the apartment throughout the entire rental. Respond to issues and sent out repair people quickly. No fault eviction 4 weeks before Christmas. Spent all Christmas packing. Usual estate agency quality you get in the UK. I'd say they belong in prison, but that would be an improvement on their rental accommodation, perhaps they simply deserve to rent from themselves. Approach with care.

Amazing local estate agents. We used Beaumonts when buying our house in Fiveways back in 2013 and recently used them as our agents when selling the same property in 2020. Both Andy and Graham were very professional, attentive, patient and very honest. Their knowledge of the local area and markets were key factors in getting our house sold and I really cannot speak highly enough about them. Called and wrote last week with regards to viewing a rental property as I am selling a property and wanted six months to a year renting and have considerable funds for doing so. No reply from them and I have now offered on a new property to buy so will not use this agency for any services. They seemed to me very slow or just not interested. I had forgotten how bad the rental industry can be per se, but I guess for many of them it is in essence unskilled work so I understand a possible lack of interest also in general. As a self employed marketing consultant I do have protocols for replying to people in a timely fashion, so it is something I expect from so called professionals also, even if it is to say the property has gone. Conversely, the agency who sold my property locally were far more attentive and a shame they only deal with sales, as I had got used to people actually calling or bothering to reply. People have no right to ask people to fill forms and garnish personal information that you do not have the decency to even acknowledge. Hopefully others will have a better experience and am sure some will. I further hope such reviews as this will ameliorate the management and protocols they have for replying to leads. I called again today for my information to be deleted and to say I had not even had an acknowledgement. I was not offered any apology and was told yes fine to go ahead and do a 1 star review so I have. Thank you to them for agreeing this action. Have a nice day.
