GoogleI've taken a bit of time (1.5 months) to think after the horror that is selling and buying houses in England generally (and this needs to stop being so awful) and my experience in the context of all that and how I'd rate my agent. Having done that, I reckon if you are going to go through the horror and mess of it, having Gary and Gavin at Avard at your back as your selling agent cheering you on in the fray of it all is not a bad thing at all. It was horrible, vile, awful but, putting it all into the mix, I realise actually they were there for me and doing a really bloody good job. Thank you!

GoogleIn buying our first home together, Avards have been incredible since day one. Gary has been professional and approachable throughout the entire process. There were certain delays with the sellers solicitors, and without Gary's help it would've delayed our move by months I'm sure. He personally went above and beyond in his duties to assist in making the sale run as smoothly as possible. For example, driving to the sharing free holders multiple addresses to obtain signatures on lease extensions, or contacting both solicitors when we couldn't and keeping us in the loop. On veiwing the property prior to exchanging contracts to get quotes for the work that needed doing, Avards were always understanding and there to allow us access to the property. When it comes to selling our flat, we will 100% choose Gary, Patrick and the team at Avards.

Google5 stars and more!!! Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you to Gary and the team for all your hard work and support throughout the process of buying our first home! They made a stressful time less stressful, we had problems with the seller's solicitors, they were just so bad at getting anything done, but Gary and the team went above and beyond to help us, even driving documents to lease holders to get signatures! They were always just a phone call away if we ever wanted to ask any questions and they kept us informed with calls throughout! I can't recommend these guys enough!! If we ever sell our property I know which estate agent we will use... Thank's again Avard!

Gavin has been instrumental in us being able to get our purchase through in less than a month - from start to finish he has been extremely responsive, helpful, professional and we appreciated the no nonsense approach! GoogleI highly recommend Avards and can't praise them enough. Following a disappointing service from 2 of the larger agencies, I switched to Avard following a recommendation. Their fee was very competitive and offered high end marketing support, leading to numerous viewings booked within hours of going on the market. From start to finish Gavin and Gary provided an extremely efficient and professional service. Their communication was great throughout and made what could have been a challenging sale, a walk in the park. Great work Team Avard!

GoogleSelling a family home of 25 years was not a comfortable prospect, but Gary was always positive and reassuring. He handled the open day with great skill., which led to the sale. Nothing was too much trouble, or Gary and i would recommend Gar and his colleagues to anyone.

GoogleWe can’t recommend Avard Estate Agents too highly. During the unusually difficult process of recently selling our house in Brighton, Gary and his colleagues went the extra mile by keeping us informed throughout the sale. None of the problems we encountered along the way were anything to do with Avard, but they helped and advised us deal with all the problems we faced. We would certainly recommend Avard if you expect 5-star service.

GoogleThey didn't show up to an arranged viewing, didn't let me know in advance, didn't message or call me and after I informed them of what happened ignored my email. I lost my lunch break and taxi fare getting to and from the location. Rethink this estate agent if you want to get your property sold.
