My journey with Cubitt & West throughout my sale was positive. The team through, what can be a very stressful process and also one of someone's biggest purchases were professional, responsive and supportive from start to finish. Shout out to Dayne, Dave, Louis and Nigel for keeping me updated, helping me through any difficulties, keeping me updated, always being available when needed or had a question and more so when something needed moving. Lost engagement ring !

Big shout out to Thomas Goodchild (of lettings and customer care) who is always there when I need him. Last time it was my shower and this time (through no fault of my own) it was my engagement ring that fell down the drain. I was absolutely devastated and so I got through to Thomas who called me to arrange the plumber to come as quickly as he can. Within a day the swift arrangements were made and then Thomas also phoned me after to check that everything had been sorted out for me. I'm so grateful for him always being on hand to sort out all my maintenance issues whenever I have any. He's awesome. Thank you so much for all the excellent service you have provided!

Cubitt were great from start to finish

Cubitt were great from the start of the process to the end. Zoe sold the company well, explained the process and organised some fantastic photographs. The sales team were efficient and communicated well during viewings. After a quick sale Julie oversaw the progress of the chain and kept us regularly informed. Moving is a difficult experience and Cubitt made it as stress free as possible, would recommend to anyone selling their home.

Fantastic level of customer service

My experience with cubitt and west has been fantastic from the get go. They have been very helpful and always there to answer questions if I had any. They reply super fast and if you phone them, they are more than happy to speak on the phone with you. A special mention for Julie who has been fantastic throughout my whole sale of my property. We had a few things go wrong in the chain and she has been fantastic guiding me through it!

Branch good, staff great!

The Cubitt & West branch we used were absolutely fantastic. Always there when we needed them and always the most helpful, especially when we had any questions or issues. My only personal issue with the company would be their use of a certain solicitors. I was deeply unhappy with their recommendation of solicitors who they recommended. You may say that I could have got my own but at that moment, being a first time buyer, I felt very much pushed into that choice. Things were great with the company themselves though. We were assigned Julie to help us and she's been absolutely spectacular. The amount of calls I've made to her to moan is frankly ridiculous but shes always been there to help, to explain what's going on and why, and to be that voice of reason when we needed it most. Very happy to have worked with her and if the review was just for her, it would have been an easy 5*!

I have dealt extensively with estate agents over the past year and was once an agent myself. Brighton and Hove have many different agencies, but Cubitt and West stands out, particularly thanks to Zac, who is a tremendous asset to the company and the industry. I found myself in a bit of a panic after my purchase fell through with another agency. I called Zac at 5 PM, and he spoke to me like a genuinely kind and caring person, rather than just a salesperson. He did everything he could within the hour to arrange viewings for that day and provide me with as many options as possible. Zac stayed late to show me around and even charged my phone! He was sympathetic to my situation, and I truly appreciated his kindness, time, and authenticity, which is rare in this industry. Cubitt and West, you really have a gem in Zac! Thank you, Zac!

As first time buyers with little information of steps to go about how to buy a property we are thankful for the team at Cubitt and West in Patcham, especially Zak for making it happen for us, whilst going through some stressful periods however they made us feel assured the whole way. We got stuck with hurdles from a property in the onward chain, and with us having a deadline with our rental property giving us notice, Zak pushed and chased for us to get us over the finish line. For first time buyers I couldn't of asked for anything more, and for those finding their first property, I couldn't recommend enough, The Patcham team will surely make the process that less stressful and assure you the whole way.

Very Disappointed all round

Don't often write reviews however as my decision to use this estate agents was based on so many good reviews, I felt I needed to share my experience.After having 5 valuations of my apartment, I decided to use the Southsea branch as I was very impressed with their manager Samara. She was very prepared and seemed very knowledgeable and didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. They were the most expensive but she justified that with all the extra things she offered to sell my property such as building initial excitement with a pre-launch, with their list of 200+ looking for a similar property working with homeserve for over 60s.Once the contract was signed, communication just disappeared and there was no pre-launch. Just the day before my property went live, only a handful of people had been contacted so there was no such pre-launch. the launch for a weekend went wrong and my property only went on one of the main sites and not the others like it should. They didn't even notice. I had to advise them on the Monday that my property was missing. One of the biggest failures was on the advert was no floor plan and I wasn't generally happy with the advert at all. It was very basic and not making the most of the property at all. Despite multiple calls I couldn't get hold of the manager and she never bothered to call me back and she was the only one that could make any changes apparently. I was then told that a floor plan hadn't been done as my own photos were used but this was never explained. Weeks went by and after going into the shop directly I finally managed to get agreement to some changes made and I was told a floor plan was being done, however all the changes still didn't get put through. I basically re-wrote the ad myself and the floor plan was only put on as a picture so it still didn't show there was a floor plan and there was a sizing error on it that again I pointed out. I didn't get any interest at all or a single viewing on my property, a very smart and tidy property, and there was no communication or feedback around what was happening and what they were doing to sell and even though I tried to express my disappointment they just didn't seem to care and then just blamed it on the price. I don't dispute the market is challenging but I strongly feel the advert let it down and the lack of a floor plan was a big failure, I've also noticed that links that I see on Facebook don't work so when you click on a property that they are advertising it just takes you to a blank white page.Selling a property is stressful enough but it should be a collaborative approach with your agent and I found the total lack of communication and feeling that they were not interested a real let down.

We had to write this review for Zac because he has been absolutely incredible from start to finish when buying our property. He was so invested in us and went above and beyond to help us secure the perfect home for us. His communication was always so thorough and fast and there was always so much reassurance and care taken when talking to us. He squeezed in late viewings to allow us to view the property and seemed to do this without too much trouble. Everything has been seamless in the process and we couldn’t have asked for any more from Zac. Highly recommend Cubit and West Patcham and a huge thanks goes out to everyone involved; especially Zac!

Don't use this real agent as their…

Don't use this real agent as their services are very bad. They just sold the property without looking and checking of developer's professionals and ethics to customer and left the buyer to struggle faces the issues after buying the property. I bought the brand new house through Cubitt & west and their developer was not even answering the phones calls, or reply or fix the problem even they agreed. They left the house without any purchase or supplier contact details to contact if you want to do something by yourself. Spoken to real state agent head office and the feedback I have received is this is not their problem if developer is not answering so you have to go to legal but they are not taking any responsibility as a selling agent to select the professional developer or take any action. Buyer is buying the property with their hard-earned money and paying the EMI but this real agent and their unprofessional developer are just a real problem so never recommend to use again.

We recently purchased a house via Cubitt. Alice, Zak, & Eloise were great. Alice and Zak went above and beyond to help get our sale over the line when the solicitors had slowed down. Zak also got us into see a property we were set on so we could get a early offer in late on a Friday evening where I bet he would have liked to be anywhere else. I sadly cannot give 5 stars as a member of the sales progression team, AA, performed very poorly and provided no value to advancment of our purchase. Overall I would reccomend Cubitt. Thanks Team.
