I cannot recommend Julie highly enough. She has gone above and beyond during a protacted and difficult and long house sale. Use Taylors if you are thinking of selling your property

I would like to say that the Brierley Hill branch has been the worst estate agents that I have ever had dealings with. If any of the staff members have wrote "good communication skills" on their CV or even claimed to have this skill, then look up at the sky because it quite possibly might be your lucky day as you'll see pigs flying. If you don't mind waiting an extremely long time for them to press a button for you to get your deposit back, have nothing repaired (hopefully you don't fall through decking like I did or have any broken windows) or for them to tell you that they will get back to you (which is just a delay tactic as they never did respond) then these are the guys for you. Otherwise, I would say if at all possible AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! If you do find yourself in the unfortunate situation where they are your only option, then I pray that you have the time to call them constantly (a few times a day) to get the answers that you need! But don't let them fob you off with "I'll get back to you" because they never will. They love to use delay tactics, so don't be fooled. And as an FYI on the deposit return, you'll most likely need a signature from a solicitor witnessing the Statutory Declaration that you will most likely have to draft and send to the DPS. Pros: None. Cons: Awful at communicating, doing repairs and returning deposits. 70% of the staff members are rude with the other 30% clueless about life in general. Overall lacking common sense and any knowledge or ability of customer service or how to run a business.

Excellent service from the start to finish. Always fully updated on viewings, feedback and finally the sale progress. Worth every penny. I know someone selling a house for £1.1m with another agent and they're lucky to even be told of a viewing let alone feeback.

Amazing service from Taylor’s Brierly hill who went above and beyond on more than one occasion. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt like a valued customer from start to finish. 5/5 from me and I will be returning when/if I come to sell again.

Great service from Taylor’s B Hill. Very professional throughout and in less than a week our house was sold. Would recommend Taylor’s as a local estate agent who know the local area well & give accurate valuations on property.

Great service from Taylor’s as always. I brought my house from them a few years ago and it went smoothly start to finish, so we went back to them for a valuation as we are thinking of buying a bigger property. The customer service was great and an appointment was booked easily. Mitchell came out to value our property and he was very friendly and talkative and gave us all the information we needed we felt no pressure at all.

If you go on vacation you'll come back to ur estate and find out that they empty it out and sell your furniture and your belongings I had a bad experience 😞Im Traumatised …
Hi Bechayer Al-Harbi. It seems that you have left a review for the wrong estate agency! Whilst we sympathise with your traumatic experience, we are unable to help you, however, you can help us by removing this review of our estate agency. That would be appreciated.

Just turned up for a viewing of a property arranged by taylors (via phone call and confirmed in email), to be told by the owner that the property was already under offer. Had to change all of my weekend plans to make this viewing with 2 young kids in tow, as well as making arrangements to sort out my finances. This isn't good enough and totally unprofessional. Thanks for wasting my time Taylors!!!

Paid holding deposit, passed all checks.. put deposit down on moving van.. ect.. landlord pulls out. Denied ESA even tho ad did not state no pets.
Hi Stacey. Whilst we understand your frustration, it was our client that changed their mind - not us! We have spoken to you about this and do sympathise. Your one-star rating therefore seems a little harsh.

Myself and my partner had a terrible experience with Taylors, and looking at the previous reviews they have I can only imagine that perhaps they’re more helpful when it comes to buying and selling properties compared to renting.. but if you’re considering renting using this Taylors branch, please be warned! We first looked at a flat, which had no front door attached to it, only a piece of wood, it was meant to be newly decorated but the whole front drive was incomplete and it just looked half done. It was partially my own mistake for trusting the people who showed us the flat, however when viewing it we were promised by the landlord the drive would be completed and the door would be fixed prior to our moving in date. We were told we had to make a decision on whether we wanted the place there and then as so many people wanted the property.. more fool us. The second we collected the keys I instantly had a bad vibe, we signed the agreement with Georgia, who didn’t seem too bothered about whether we were happy or not, she just wanted to get out of the place as it was Saturday and her shift was nearly finished. A couple of days after moving in, our gas and electric shut off, we weren’t told who our providers were, nor what kind of meters we had, our meters were actually left with 100s of pounds of debt on them, we were left freezing in the winter for a few nights and I ended up crying on the phone to Scottish power which was the only reason the debt was cleared. Then the mould started, we had countless furniture ruined, the place was so old and damp and clearly there had just been a fresh layer of paint plastered over issues which had began to uncover themselves less than a month we’d been in the property. Each time we called Taylors we were told to “take it up with the landlord as it’s nothing to do with them” and when we tried the landlord he simply just didn’t answer his phone. It’s funny that it’s “nothing to do with Taylors” when we’re having problems yet they were very quick to take our rent and deposit from us! It’s funny how it’s “nothing to do with Taylors” yet they were the ones who advertised a property that has now left myself with ongoing health conditions due to the mould. We had to end our tenancy agreement as both myself and my partner couldn’t stand living in such conditions any longer. The drive still isn’t done now we’ve moved out and the worst part is they’ve just used the same old pictures we were tricked to seeing, to re-advertise the property when it simply is not liveable! We reported the property to the council but were forced to retract our report as we were told that if we didn’t then we wouldn’t get back our deposit. Overall I was truly disgusted with the way we were treated, and fail to understand how both Taylors and our landlord were able to sleep at night knowing that we were living in such conditions whereas they just took all of our money for the rent. Both myself and my partner work very hard straining jobs full time and the ordeal that this flat put us through was just insane. I had to have days off work due to the illness caused by the mould. We luckily managed to get out of the tenancy agreement and were treated absolutely amazingly by billingham and co, who found us an amazing property to which we are so grateful for. To all wishing to rent through Taylors, in particular this BRIERLEY hill branch, please be warned as I wouldn’t recommend these people to anyone. They care about money and do not care at all when it comes to the welfare of people.

the seller left the house in a bad way when we moved in. we complained to taylors about this and had no response. they seem to be happy to sell properties, and wipe their hands clean once the process is complete
I am very sorry to read this review Gary and for our company to receive such a poor star rating. However, we DO CARE and sympathise that your new home purchase wasn't left to your satisfaction. Of course, as estate agents, we make recommendation to our outgoing vendor clients as to how best to leave a property for new owners, yet we can do no more. Due to GDPR I cannot go into any detail on this public site and nor, I suspect, would you want me to do so. Irrespective, I feel that your comments do not reflect the genuine sympathy that we have with your disppointment. I would be more than happy to liaise with you further on this. Mitch Taylor.

Avoid if you are a tennant. The lady who sorts out lettings is rude and obnoxious. If you have paid a deposit don't expect it back, even if you have left your old home in perfect condition bar wear and tear. The only thing this company care about is helping well off landlords line their pockets further. Disgusting.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Booking a valuation through the office was quick and easy and all staff spoken to was very friendly and efficient. Mitch arrived promptly to carry out the valuation and made us feel comfortable and answered all questions we had.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
