Lazy and irresponsible. They refused to let me apply for a rented house because I'm not currently working. They didn't bother to find out that I could easily afford it and pay up front, or that I'm a qualified professional, have significant assets, am a landlord myself and have been an excellent tenant previously. Assuming someone isn't suitable based on the answer of one question without knowing the circumstances is lazy and they're letting down their landlords with this kind of discrimination. They may miss out on a fantastic tenant because of it. Never mind the potential legal ramifications.

a house viewing was arranged but the agent didn't show up and the tenant that was still living there had to show me and several other people around although the agency didn't even ask him beforehand... he simply didn't have a choice. next few days they just ignored all emails. so unbelievably unprofessional!
