Extremely poor experience with this agent. After nearly a year house is still not sold in a desirable area. I found the agent, who was the owner, arranged for people unlikely to be able to afford the property to view it. I have no idea why, it wasted so much time. He does not know how to manage a listing on Rightmove, which is a basic for any agent now as he said he was unable to remove an incorrect and damaging 'reduced price' headline for the house. Failed to recognise and promote property USPs, eg chain free, although I note another agent was praised for recognising "our garden was a huge selling point"(!). The agent tried to delete this genuine review. Looking through their near-perfect Google reviews, most are from people with only a handful of reviews and all use VERY similar English! "Gary and the team..."?! Hopefully Gary and the Team can use this feedback productively. MY RESPONSE TO REPLY FROM OWNER: I'm uneasy that you've been searching your customers' data to match against my review. I see you do this for all negative reviews, rather than using them to improve the service you offer. I'm sure your customers wouldn't appreciate it either. Legally, businesses can use customer data only for the specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes for which it was originally collected. This obligation is a core tenet of data privacy legislation and is primarily covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which you should be familiar with. If you'd like to discuss my review I'd be happy to speak to you directly rather than you leaving passive-agressive replies that don't help tackle the core issue. Thanks

M&J Are probably the best estate agents in the world. Every single member of staff goes out of their way to help even on days off. Discussing my sale, Russell spent nearly 2 hours going through every detail. I have also purchased with M&J and had to visit the property a number of times. Never a problem. Jack was always available without question. I do not normally do reviews but in this case they deserve it. My qualifications,I have bought and sold over 50 properties here and abroad.

We initially contacted them because we saw that they sold most of the properties in the area we wanted and so we asked them to sell ours as well as help us buy our dream house. Paul Fynn in particular was really amazing!
