We really appreciate the personal and non-corporate service we get from Mr & Mrs Simons who manage and let flats for me. Mark is very responsive and flexible in his way of working. Highly recommended.

GoogleThey are unremarkable people. They don't keep their word. They have left a family on the street, after telling us that we were the first on the waiting list.
For some time now, the London rental market has been heating up. There's a shortage of good property and anything decent goes quickly. Properties are often listed by multiple agents. The only fair and workable system is: 'first to secure'. For this particular property there were several people ready to view. Then one person paid a non-refundable holding deposit without even looking! Generally, we would say this isn't a good idea. But you never know someone's situation and how they are willing (or are forced by circumstances) to take the risk. The 'first to secure' must be respected. We are very saddened that you had to miss out. In the current 'race' for properties there is often disappointment. And we are sorry about that. We could probably have explained the risks better. Treating people properly is important for our business and for our own sense of worth. Also, happy tenants stay longer and make for happy landlords. We never forget that the properties we manage are people's homes. We go the extra mile to serve all the tenants in our care. It is testament to us that some tenants have been with us for decades. We really are sorry that you feel you weren't treated well. That is certainly not what we intended.
