🌟 5-Star Review 🌟 I can’t thank Mapesbury agency enough for the incredible service they provided while helping my elderly uncle sell his property. From start to finish, they were professional, patient, and genuinely caring. As I was handling much of the process from Ireland on my uncle’s behalf, Saj made sure I was kept fully informed every step of the way, always quick to answer any questions and proactive in providing updates before I even had to ask. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and it was clear they truly had our best interests at heart. Selling a property can be stressful but Saj made the whole experience smooth and worry-free. I rented this property on company let status and paid six months upfront in a one year contract. My family and I met Nicky on the day set for our move in and they were quite professional but as soon as we started living I the apartment they became less responsive to our complaints. We were made to pay 2 months rent deposit with and when our contract was up they came up with requests for utility bills payment before our deposit will be refunded it took us 8 months to resolve that and when we finally did and demanded for our deposit, we were told that the landlord had personal issues We have requested our solicitor to demand our deposit back from the agents.

Mapesbury Estate Agents were quite short and inconsistent with their communication and behaviour towards us from the very beginning. They ignored our complaints or made half hearted attempts to placate us. This even resulted in having our property stolen. They were of little to no assistant in contacting our local council with regards to our council tax during our tenancy as we needed some guidance (this was our first experience with council tax, being students renting with a guarantor) and were even an obstacle to getting our final bill after we moved out as they outright refused to carry out tasks that the council required of them, citing them as ‘illegal’. Personally, I don’t think Brent council goes around sending illegal requests in writing. This went on for 8 months. After we eventually settled with the council and came back for our deposit which I’m sure they thought we’d never see, they claimed the landlord suddenly had personal issues and kept missing deadlines for payments or updates they set for themselves. We eventually had to involved solicitors and are currently taking legal action.

My experience with Mapesbury was overall very good, we perhaps mutually set too high a price for the property at first, but once the price was tweaked, they got viewings organised quickly and efficiently. Soon getting offers. The second potential buyer was introduced by Saj, who was very proactive in getting offers and counter-offers to both parties, and quickly got us to a mutually agreeable price point. Thereafter throughout the sale process, he stayed constantly on top of where we were, and his help was invaluable to keep the respective solicitors in check, and in the end he was a key part of getting the buyer's solicitor to expedite the purchase. The buyer not being the issue, but rather their solicitor, who but for Saj's constant prompting would have sat on their hands for weeks, seemingly. I highly recommend Mapesbury for their commission rates, and Saj for his sheer determination to get the transaction over the line.

We met Saj from Mapesbury Estate Agents we he came to view the property we were renting at the time. He was interested in our intentions (to buy locally) and explained that he would let us know if he knew of any properties that were coming to market. Saj kept in contact on a regular basis and suggested different properties that suited our budget and preferences. Through his advice, I gained an understanding of the Willesden Green market, which properties were sensibly priced and those that were unreasonably priced. This advice saved me from overpaying on a flat I originally believed was suitable. In hindsight, not proceeding with it turned out to be the best decision. In fact, it was arguably the best experience I have had during the last 10+ years that I have been renting properties in the UK (let alone London).
