FacebookAfter leaving my rented property in May, i still have not received my deposit back. It took me over 2 days to clean the place before moving in, and i made sure the place was better than i found it when leaving. Yet the landlady refused to sign off my deposit and i got Zero help from Gascoigne... the land lady walk in on the flat without notice, once whilst i was stuck down with covid, and you wasn't allowed to visit people. Now i am left to chase MY money back. Avoid these guys, they do not help when help is required.

Excellent process with Gascoignes, from initial meet with Markus, market appraisal right down to the wire.Market knowledge and valuation was spot on. Photography clear, perfect contrast and house write up excellent and accurate. Brilliantly managed by Lucy Kershaw throughout with very timely comms and updates. We felt she managed potential buyers very well and helped maintain the integrity of the chain as it developed. Viewings all managed professionally and consistently too. Viewing requests started coming in within an hour or so of being released online. Offers started a few days after viewings and final offer just over a week later. Just excellent team all round! Thank you all.

Extremely poor customer service. No communication and appear to also be quite judgmental towards single parents. I am still waiting for them to call me back but regardless of weather they do or not, i definitely won’t be letting a property through them.

Told the woman named Susan that I would be a student working in my holidays off uni whilst getting a mortgage. Been lead on to sign a lifetime fee of 600 pound to use there advice for the next 6 month for unlimited advice. Now being told she didn't know I was a student when I have clear evidence on my side I told her. Lawsuit imenent. This firm will lie to get money Out of you. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, GO EPSEWHERE.

I would be very wary of letting these guys manage the rental of anything! Purchased a property via gascoigne and Halman, that has previously been tenanted (managed by gascoigne and halman), and it’s been a horrible experience. When we viewed the property it was filthy, so offered full asking on the agreement it be professionally cleaned. When we moved in, not only was it still dirty but we quickly discovered it had a serious flea infestation! When I flagged the flea issue to the chapel offIce they were helpful and did try to arrange pest control, but it was ineffective and 8 weeks on we still Have issues- the pest control guy thought the issue must have been untreated for many many months as the infestation was so bad! I don’t know what kind of checks they do on tenants, or how regularly they inspect their properties, but allowing a lovely new house to become absolutely infested under their management absolutely amazes me. Be very wary if you are considering them as rental agents.

GoogleSold our house with GH in August 2019. Objectively useless. From start to finish. I won't bore you with the detail of everything that was handled poorly, as this would turn into war and peace. Needless to say we were left with an overriding feeling that we had paid them a significant amount of money for practically nothing. They put the house on to Rightmove - that was where their usefulness ended. Did the rest ourselves, and they didn't even contact us on the day of completion to congratulate us on the move. Save yourself the money and angst - either sell yourself through an online agent or pick an independent firm who care even the slightest bit about your sale.

Used Gascoigne Halman Lettings to manage my property - biggest mistake. Took commission every month but did nothing to earn it. Ignored my emails when I reported concerns following an inspection visit report and allowed tenant to damage property which resulted in problems trying to claim money from deposit and eventually left me considerably out of pocket. Didn't know where one set of keys were when I went to collect them! Didn't have the grace to admit their mistakes and apologize. Would certainly NOT recommend!!

GoogleI would definitely recommend GH in Bramhall. They were very professional, easy to talk to and always happy to answer any questions. The phone was always answered straight away and Claudia did a great job as the sale was going through. And a big thankyou to the team...Amy, Jo and Matt. We knew we were in safe hands!

GoogleI have had a terrible experience with these people, we rented a 5 bedroom house in Bramhall, when we moved in it was filthy and nothing worked, including hob, boiler, gas fire, showers, we complained and have been battling with the agents ever since. I wrote a 20 page complaint to the Director in accordance with their complaints procedure and didn’t even get an acknowledgement. I am now in the process of taking our complaint to the Property Ombudsman. I parted with over £3000 prior to moving in and have received an absolutely abismal level of service. Completely unprofessionally and shoddy.

GoogleSo,after waiting 6 months for an evaluation,having chased it every month since,they evaluated our house at over £100K less than 3 other rivals,this was from their manager,Matthew Clark,what a useless and poor service.I’ actively discouraging all I know not to use this agent.Wpuld have given 0 stars but there doesn’t seem to be that option.Never use this company

GoogleBooked an appointment for a valuation last week. They were due to come out today and I finished work early as it was a 4:30 appointment. Just had a phone call from them at 4 to say they weren’t coming as we were out of their area (despite a home 200 yards away that is on the market with them) shocking service. But at least I know now.
