Very pleased with the services of Millie Keeble, Jamie Mcpherson and Archie Bloomfield at Bairstow Eves who collectively worked on the sale of my late Mother's property. Due to the property needing modernising it was not a straightforward sale, but Millie in particular worked extremely hard doing house viewings and identifying the right buyer's for us. Millie built up a strong rapport with our eventual buyer's so queries or issues were resolved quickly, which meant a faster sale. Having never been through the process before as a seller, Millie was a huge support to me and was always happy to provide advice and answer any questions or worries I had - however trivial they may have seemed.

Richard took me through my remortgaging journey a few months ago now, and it was made a very easy process by him. He took me through all my options for the short and long term, assisted with insurance changes too, and generally made me feel safe in what can be a minefield - especially during the time of rate rises every few weeks! Bairstows were brilliant. We'd had a bit of bad luck with previous estate agents losing our buyer and losing the house we were buying and then viewings dried out completely. Thought our house would never sell!!!!! Bairstows took over and we went from zero viewings to viewings every week. Even over Christmas. They didn't sit back and wait for people to call to ask to view the property they actively sought out people who were looking at other similar properties but may have dismissed our property for whatever reasons and convinced them to come and view. They gave advice on improving the look of the house for photos and viewings and they insisted on showing people around themselves to ensure the viewings were positive. Once we had sold they were constantly on the case making sure sale went through quickly. Nathan was brilliant too getting us far better rate than we had been offered elsewhere. I was heavily pregnant when we were going through the sale and they helped take the stress out of it chasing up the chain for me moving things along. Couldn't recommend them enough. Thanks bairstows!

Really disappointing experience especially after the initial meeting with Jamie which seemed so positive. Had to chase for feedback, requested call from another office in the area that I wanted to move to which never materialised, only offer I received was from two viewings that I carried out not the agent, promised phone call to discuss housing situation which wasn’t made because the agent was ‘too busy’. I’m sorry but if I’m paying you a substantial fee to sell my house you find 5 minutes over a period of a week to talk to me. As I said, disappointing.

I found everyone at the Braintree branch to be very friendly and helpful. They guided me through the process of selling my house with a great deal of patience. At all times they acted in a professional manner and gently prompted me when they needed me to complete some documents or provide more information. I guess the best recommendation I can give is that if I were to ever buy or sell a house again in Braintree would I use the Braintree branch of Bairstow Eves? The answer would be yes.

Very disappointing, We had sold our property and requested a quick transaction only we agreed to purchase this property under this understanding, half way through the legality's the brakes went on, as the seller's had decided they needed 2 months longer although not directly your fault we felt you could have done more to convince them that's not the way to do business in hindsight we should have walked away as this delay caused us a lot of stress and money. Finally on the day of completion our funds were exchanged in the morning. At 1pm we came to your agency to collect the keys to our new property only to be told the sellers had not handed over the keys, we went straight to the property, the sellers where surprised as no one had given them a time to vacate, we then had to wait outside until 3.30 before the keys where handed over, again we got no assistance from your office,although not in your control on entering the property it was in a disgusting state even the glass oven door had been kicked in with the glass all over the kitchen floor. All in all this was the most distressing house purchase we have made.
