Lifestyle as both letting and estate agents.

We’ve used Lifestyle for many years as agents for a property we rented out. Having always been pleased with their service as a letting agent, we also used them to subsequently sell the house and have been very satisfied with how they conducted the whole process. From initial suggestions regarding small improvements to make the house more attractive to conducting the viewings we were always kept up to date with progress and the state of the market. Once a sale was agreed, we were able to just let Cilla and James liaise with the buyers and solicitors which made the sale very easy for us as we live some distance from the house. All in all, I’d certainly recommend Lifestyle as both letting and estate agents.

Great service with a great team

I can’t speak highly enough of Lifestyle Estate Agents. We first used them 28 years ago when we bought our property, and we recently returned to them to handle the sale, something that says a lot in itself. From start to finish, the team have been excellent. James, who carried out the valuation, was extremely knowledgeable and provided a fair and realistic assessment of both the property and the market. From start to finish, Lifestyle Properties have been fantastic. After spending around five months on the market with our previous agent, we decided to seek fresh valuations. While many estate agents turned up with a typical sales pitch, James was completely different. He arrived well prepared, having clearly done his research, and he didn’t waste any time. Given the position we were in, he was upfront, honest and realistic about our next steps, and he offered a very competitive price to get our home sold. There was absolutely no pressure from him, just clear answers, genuine advice, and someone who was always only a phone call away. We chose to sell with Lifestyle, and they quickly generated a strong level of viewings from motivated, committed buyers. They secured an offer we honestly didn’t expect to receive, especially considering how long we had already been on the market. Both James and Cilla took the time to really listen to what we wanted to achieve, and they worked determinedly to get us the outcome we hoped for. At one point, I even suggested lowering the price, but they confidently advised against it, which only reinforced how committed they were to acting in our best interest. 26 years of very good service

I have always had very good service from Lifestyle over the years, buying my first house through them in 2000 and they have been successful in my subsequent three house sales. James is particularly knowledgeable of the local market. When I phoned up to put my house on the market, I had already found the property I was after for my onward purchase James calmly managed my expectations in terms of how quickly a sale could be achieved, explaining that for a 4-bed house, it was unlikely this would happen immediately. However, hats off Lifestyle! - I was not expecting our buyer to be found before the house was even officially on the market and a sale agreed in less than one week. Cilla was very helpful in the progression of the sale. The only reason this is a 4-star review instead of 5, is we were held up on our onward purchase as a result of the sale of our property. Our first delay was caused by our buyers not having a survey until 3 months into the process. This was not being chased up, and we felt that someone should have been on top of this. However, overall I would recommend the Lifestyle team.

I honestly cannot thank Derrick and Gary enough for all the help and support they have given me throughout my experience. We recently bought a house through Lifestlye and we were incredibly happy with the service provided. The listing was well prepared and the provided walkthrough 10 minute video of the property was incredibly helpful and far more useful than the usual 'dumping of photos' that most agents do. James does a great job with these. They were able to arrange a viewing for us at short notice. We were shown round the property by Logan who arrived punctual and was incredibly professional and friendly. Unlike some other agents he diden't try to 'hard sell' he let us make up our own minds and came back to us with any questions he could not answer on the spot. Really happy with our 3 viewings that Logan did for us. Cilla in the sales office is an absolute god-send when our chain started to fall apart at the last minute. We could always get hold of her via phone and email and she did her absolute best to keep the chain intact and sale progressing through to the end. Lifestyle is one of the only independent agents in Bradley Stoke and if you want to work with a friendly local team then I would highly recommend selling/buying with them.

We had an offer accepted on a coach house on Kemperleye Way, Bradley Stoke, in March 2025. Lifestyle were always quick to help and consistently chased the sellers, but the sellers themselves turned out to be a complete nightmare. After eight months of delays, excuses, and zero progress, we were forced to withdraw. The whole situation caused us a lot of stress and financial loss. Lifestyle did everything they could from their side, and they often advised us to look for something else after many red flags, which we eventually did. My only criticism is that these sellers should have been vetted or audited more carefully before being put forward, as they clearly had no ability or intention to complete a sale. Overall, Lifestyle tried their best, but the sellers made the entire experience unworkable including getting new solicitors halfway through, and wanting to change land registery toward exchange, let alone not using computers. Something was very off. To end on a positive note, Lifestyle have good properties and very good to get back to calls and emails. These things happen. Thats our experience. Thankyou.
