We have had a great experience using Propalt for client prospecting at EverGrow Assets Sales & Lettings. Grant is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, supporting us every step of the way. The software is an excellent tool for reaching potential clients and growing our business. We would definitely recommend Propalt to estate agents, especially those outside our Hazel Grove and Stockport patch! 😊

We took on a subscription in February after seeing a demo which all looked good. There's a lot of data there, it looked impressive and a great way to contact residential landlords. During an onboarding session an "audience" was created to target professional landlords within our area, i.e. those who rent using a Limited Company. Before sending any letters, I wanted to check through the data as some of the Limited Companies listed raised red flags. On reviewing the 250 companies within our "audience", we found a significant number of these were not residential landlords, but included freehold management companies, commercial landlords (freehold owners leasing their commercial property back to their business), local authority/housing associations and charity/care/assisting living accommdation. After eliminating these, we were left with a database of 97 landlords. When I raised the issue with our account manager, he picked at random one of the limited companies listed and proclaimed the properties shown under it as residential. The company he chose was actually one of ours and the properties listed under it are commercial. When I explained this, he admitted that they would not have been able to filter this data out. I have told Propalt that I believe their data is fundamentally flawed, which obviously they disagree with. It seems they are garnering much of their data via Companies House and I believe are filtering this using the SIC code "68209 Other letting and operating of own or leased real estate". The problem with Companies House is that anyone can create a limited company and they will apply any SIC code which vaguely looks like what they are doing. Therefore the data Propalt is using isn't precise. Now, in fairness, this could just be an issue for the town we are targetting. We never sent any letters out and have cancelled our subscription, so cannot state that a mailing campaign wouldn't have brought in new business. It's possible a larger territory could have more professional residential landlords to be targetted which would make the software worthwhile. But, after reviewing the data for us, we were left with grave concerns. Updated: In response to Propalt rebuttal. No this was not free to us. We paid two months' subscription totalling £600 for a product we found to be lacking. We were explicit in what we were looking for when we signed up and if we weren't shown the correct filters, then that is failure in your onboarding process. Further update: Thank you for clarifying that your product is not suitable for a town with a population of around 100,000. Your dismissive attitude to my review speaks volumes.
Hi karen , Thanks for the review. The platform lets you see every property owner and the properties that they own ,for free. We have a specific filter for "Show me landlords who rent properties with other agents around me" and "show me landlords who use only one agent, multiple agents or no agent at all. We show you every landlord and everything they own becuase we have over 10,000 platform users. we have created specific filters for you use case but it looks you havent used them. Some people in your town are interested in commercial landlords. We also give you a rent ladder showing when properties are due back to market and which agent they are with . We give you the likely times and weven a link to the portal listing. We connect to straight to their linked in profiles. As a letting agent you've left a review of a site where youve uncovered 100 new landlords in your very small town as "2 stars" . Id love to personally show you the tool actually works if youd like but I realsie you cant please all of the people all of the time. Update for Karen - You bought letter credits. You haven't sent any letters by your own review. We've uncovered 100 new landlords for you with their full stock. Id be delighted to show you through the platform. It sounds like you where very explicit at the time of signing up - tiny town,small area ,show me all the landlords.Youve found 100 and then cancelled and left a 2 review ? Most puzzling .... Further update to your update - Ive offered you a personal tour, you've found 100 landlords. We have thousands of happy agents. Sorry you didnt feel the same, Karen

I’ve been using PropAlt and it’s a genuinely useful tool for prospecting. The data is clear, accurate and easy to filter, and the letter-sending feature saves a huge amount of time when reaching out to potential clients. Grant has been great in getting me started, patient, straightforward and really knows his stuff. He made the whole process easy to understand (and we even managed to laugh about our shared fear of anything to do with eyeballs). All round, solid product and great support.

I absolutely love Propalt. Not just what it does but the after sales support is fantastic. Not that I ever have any issues, however lately I was struggling with something. My email was responded to very quickly and without hesitation, Grant reached out and we booked a video session so we could go through things together. As it happened - the thing I was struggling with wasn't Propalt, it was the software I was using for my mailers! Propalt have won me business - why wouldn't you use it!

Matt and Grant have been absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. From helping us decide whether Propalt was the right fit for our business, to demonstrating everything the platform can do, and then providing thorough training, their support has been exceptional from start to finish. Grant, in particular, has been incredibly attentive, patient, and knowledgeable. He's always been happy to jump on a call whenever I've needed help while learning the system. He's also gone above and beyond by helping me set up templates and letterheads, something I definitely wouldn't have been able to achieve on my own. The platform itself is brilliant. The amount of data we now have access to is incredible, and being able to turn that into targeted mailing campaigns is a real game-changer. Great System. Great Service. Great Support. Grant/Matt have been very patient with us whilst we decided if PropAlt would be beneficial for us as a buisness. After 2-Demos we decided to proceed, and within a week of utilising have already secured a handful of clients from the outward marketing. There are on-going improvements being made constantly but Grant has kept us informed and welcomed feedback to improve for the end-user.

I have been using Propalt now for the past year and it has been a game changer for my business. I have had demo's with a lot of the competitors and it seems to me that it's definitely ahead of curve when it comes to data, user interface and the capabilities. We have managed to write tons of business as a result of using Propalt and being able to get direct access to landlords. I have also purchased my own property on the back of building a relationship with a landlord who came from Propalt. So all round a great service and will continue using. I also recommend working with Grant as your account manager as he has been great also!

Propalt is a great 'tool' to focus direct mail to go out on an automated basis, saving me time on such tasks. A further meeting with Grant today has helped to set up a structured plan to get more TAUK brand awareness in my area, focusing around properties that I am listing, then selling and completing on. This is in addition to other campaigns already running - I look forward to reaping the rewards over the coming weeks!

GoogleReally poor experience using their services, ended up being told credits and the package was charged incorrectly which would be refunded, only for them to then backtrack. On top of this the data quality is extremely poor. We matched it to other tech used and it didn't add up. Be wary if you go ahead and watch out for the subscriptions not being cancelled as they should be
