FacebookI highly recommend this property agency. I have private rented my property for just over 9 years through Davies lettings. Jason was at the time working alone building up his business and I couldn't fault him in any way, any issue I had within the property he got on to it right away and the issue would be fix by the next day! Over the years he has built up his amazing letting & sales business and now works with 3 other colleagues Catherine, Callum & Denise. They are all very friendly and approachable with any problems. I am very greatful for all they've done and helped when necessary. Keep up the great work 👍

GoogleWe have recently moved into a property with he help of Davies Properties. All the staff were really helpful and friendly from start to finish. They also got us moved in to our house very quickly. I also really appreciate them checking is with us a few weeks after checking that everything is okay and seeing if they can assist us further.

GoogleI had never rented before and I found their communication and attention to detail exemplary. My main communications were with Catherine but also spoke to Callum and they are always polite and friendly. Jason (The Boss) Came on the day of moving in and explained clearly and in detail all the documentation I received and signed. Also resolved a misunderstanding with the landlord which threatened to terminate my contract before it had even started. Very Grateful. GoogleRang with a query regarding the property managed by Davies which is next door to me. I have in the past spoken to Jason Davies himself and he was lovely and very professional however the same cannot be said for the lady who answered the phone in his office she was rude and aggressive and not at all professional I ended up hanging up the phone in frustration as she made me feel that upset and shall be taking up all further enquires with the landlord directly.
Good Afternoon Jo, I am sorry if you felt that I could provide answers to your questions as I cannot release information in regard to the properties that we manage. I did have to check if the property was currently let to determine who would be responsible for the hedge. I probably came across as a bit vague whilst I was checking the records when you were on the phone. It is a shame that you feel that a lack of information and checking our records was misinterpreted as something other than confidentiality (to ensure that no information relating to any of tenants or landlords is disclosed). I cannot apologise as it the something that we must adhere to, maintaining confidentiality and protecting our landlords and tenants data. It was a shame that you hung up before I could explain this to you. The landlord has been informed about the overgrown hedge although if the hedge is encroaching into your garden you are within your rights to cut it back.

Facebook0 out of 10 Rented a house on Ings rd Steeton for less than 12 months, worst experience I’ve ever had in regards to renting. Land lord and Davies lettings were a total waste of time, they were no help at all. So Many things wrong with the house far too many to mention, we reported things but nothing was ever done to fix the problems we just received snotty insulting emails back. The worst problem was the shower, it leaked into the kitchen through the ceiling all the time we were there , we reported it when we first moved in and many times since but it was never seen too and it was still doing it when we moved out. Judging by the dodgy plastering on the kitchen ceiling I’m guessing we’re not the first tenants to have the problem either. Honestly I don’t know how much of our problem was the landlord and how much was Davies Lettings. I guess if your a Landlord you’d be fine with Davies but Tenants stay away they don’t have your back at all I’m afraid. !!
Hi Emma I am very sorry that you feel you have had a bad experience. It is never our intention for any of our tenants to feel that their time at a property is anything but a good one. I do feel that I should point out that when a property is rented, there are number of interested parties involved when remedial works are required and the Letting Agent does not always have the final say on what is to be addressed, as there are many factors to consider. Since March 2020 the ability to carry out remedial works at properties has been severely hindered by lock-down and limitations due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As with everything in life, there are two sides to every story and it is unfortunate that we did not get the opportunity to discuss this with you privately. I would welcome a call or a visit if you wish to discuss this further. Wishing you all the best for the future.
