We had a pretty tricky situation and had been looking for a place to rent for a long time, but we finally managed to find it with this agency, and we couldn’t be happier. The whole process of sorting out all the documents and approvals took about a week. Appalling and deceptive practices, avoid at all costs My experience with Fox & Sons has been deeply frustrating and entirely unprofessional. Having had an offer formally accepted on a property and having completed all required paperwork and mortgage verification promptly, I discovered they deliberately failed to update the online listing status as Sold STC. Instead of taking the property off the market as agreed, they used that window of inaction to manufacture a late "competing bid" from a previous viewer to trigger a bidding war. Their games have cost me hundreds of pounds in wasted fees and many hours of lost time. When challenged, their communication was evasive, relying on transparent excuses about being out of the office while actively leaving the door open to squeeze higher offers from buyers under false pretenses. If you are a buyer, be extremely careful, as they appear more interested in playing games than managing a transparent sale. If you are a vendor, be aware that their handling of listings may actively alienate reliable, proceedable buyers. Completely unacceptable service.

Lauren Hurle is a very good properties Co-Ordinator always there when ever I needed help and managed to get me a free quote for stiff door eventhough I did not go with this contractor she managed to get another one and problem solved with the least cost. What an absolutely shocking company. AVOID THE LETTINGS TEAM AT ALL COSTS. 2 years ago now, we moved into a lovely flat and the process was near enough seamless so we were generally happy with the service and didn't expect anything bad to come from this company. Just before the new law took place on May 1st 2026, this company carried out an illegal inspection without our knowledge. As you can imagine, this left us feeling completely outraged and in a state of distress. We then received an extremely rude email stating points which need improving that I had already reported more than once with no response so their email was more than unfair. We explained how upset we were and how they have clearly breached our contract but this was ignored and brushed over although the evidence is crystal clear! Just a week letter, we had notice that we have to leave our flat within the next two months. Very coincidental that this happens just before the new law kicks in place. This company takes no accountability whatsoever and barely gave us an apology at that! You would think that paying £1,475 a month, on time, as well as all of the bills and keeping the flat clean and tidy that the treatment would be outstanding but I am afraid not. Please consider this review before getting wrapped up into this company.

I went to view a property yesterday but sadly I was not fast enough to secure the property, someone else beat me to it. I would however like to say that Ella Walsh, the young lady who showed me the property was extremely friendly and professional. She was also very helpful and explained everything.
