I recently sold my home through Whitegates Sefton and everyone was an absolute pleasure to deal with. A huge thank you to James and the entire team. I completely agree with all the positive reviews. No business will ever have 100% happy customers, but I can honestly say that whenever I needed help, advice or an update, the team was always there. My property sold within just five days and the sale completed only 12 weeks later. They work tirelessly every day for their clients, and for that reason I am more than happy to give them five stars. Highly recommended!

A huge thank you to the team at Whitegates Sefton. My mother and I sold my grandmother’s home in Bootle through them, and from the very beginning, the service was outstanding. When James first came out to meet us, he was incredibly reassuring and immediately put my mum at ease during what was a difficult time for our family. We had several estate agents visit before making our decision, but it quickly became clear that Whitegates was the right choice. I can honestly say we couldn’t fault the service we received. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always available whenever we needed help or advice. The solicitors turned out to be a bit of a nightmare, largely due to complications with the Co-operative Funeralcare making us use them but Whitegates supported us throughout the entire process and worked closely with our solicitors to keep things moving. A special thank you to Christian for putting up with my constant phone calls and always being happy to help! We really appreciate everything you’ve done for us. I owe you all a beer or two! 🍻

I would like to take a moment to give some feedback about a really positive experience with my estate agent, Tyrese. After a previous disappointing experience with a failed sale due to the seller pulling out, buying a house this time has been a truly positive experience. Tyrese has been extremely helpful throughout the whole process, always taking the time to listen to my concerns and insecurities and explain everything clearly. He has also been very polite, professional, and easy to communicate with. I really appreciated his support and would definitely recommend him to others!

After a long battle with other agencies we found Whitegates Sefton. They are fantastic, everything gone smoothly. Our agent Tyrese is a diamond. We found the right property and we didn't need to wait for group viewing ( not for us). Tyrese organised a viewing just for us very quickly . Great communication, fast response and if we don't understand something ( due to English barrier) he explains everything with incredible patience on a simplier way. You can call him anytime and he always has time for you. Super polite and understanding. As a bonus we got help to find a new mortgage advisor , Richard who is brilliant as well. Tyrese has options for anything including solicitor etc. He is the best. Thank you for your hard work and everything you do for us.

I am in the middle of selling my home, and I first met James when he came out to do my valuation a few years ago and again in October when I decided to sell, he’s a lovely lad, very knowledgeable and informative. I have mostly dealt with Megan and Christian since, and they have both been wonderful and patient with me. Especially Christian when iv rang hanging melt downs. My experience with Whitegates was brilliant. I met a young man called James, who guided me through the whole process before I initially put my property up for sale. I had the pleasure of meeting two other estate agents in my home, but I immediately knew that James was the one for the job. Throughout the process, I dealt mostly with Chris James and Megan, who handled everything professionally and always in a timely manner. Michelle, unprofessional, a theif and scam artist. Taking deposit money off tenants for no reason and blame the landlords that are their clients. Took our deposit off us over redecoration costs yet put the property back up for rent with how we decorated the property. Property was left in an immaculate condition and the rent was never late but we still got our deposit took off us by these money grabbers. Avoid any rental properties from whitegates as you'll only ever hear from them when they want more money off you. Whitegates never followed up any repairs that were reported on property by their own staff. Would avoid at all costs very unprofessional and rude.

I have recently completed the purchase of my property with Whitegates Sefton. My overall experience of this estate agents has been that of excellent practice from start to finish. Given the current climate in terms of mortgage interest rate uncertainty, I found myself valuing the knowledge and experience this branch has to offer. James Lacken is the branch manager. What he doesn't know about buying and selling houses isn't worth knowing - his impressive understanding of the conveyancing process was worth its weight in gold, and I can't thank him enough. I had many questions and needed clarity around several issues. He answered emails promptly, and even if he wasn't in the office (out at a viewing), he was quick to return my calls as soon as he could. I am so impressed by his responsiveness and readiness with information, but most of all by his attention to detail. The process was not only smooth, but indeed quick - James really gets things done and done properly. His colleague Tom is an asset to the team - not only is he reliable and diligent, he is also incredibly warm and friendly. I was very grateful for his involvement in the process. People often say buying a house is the most stressful thing you can do, and yes, it is a huge undertaking. However, James and his team made the whole experience as easy as they could for me. I cannot fault Tom at Whitegates Sefton. He communicated with us weekly as well as the appointment confirmations, which came through this and fast. As we live in Australia, he dealt with our daughter as much as possible. I bought the house I just sold with Whitegates over 10 years ago. I now live overseas so it was easier for me to use someone I’d had a positive experience with before. I phoned on the off chance and spoke with Tom Simpson. I was up front with him straight away and told him I did not want any b***s*it. I lived overseas so I did not want any hassle. Tom gave a really fair and realistic valuation of the house. I had about 15 viewings within about 2-3 weeks. And I got a realistic offer within about 3 weeks. Unfortunately through absolutely no fault ofTom/Whitegates the sale took the best part of six months. During this time Tom- and I think the manager- James literally could not have done anything more. Tom especially kept me up to date every day/week or whatever it took and I knew he felt as frustrated as I did with the lack of professionalism and contact from the solicitor. About 3/4 moths ago the buyers brought up an issue with the roof. Tom went to the property the day the roofers were there and sent me pics on WhatsApp which I really appreciated. Could not fault Tom at all. When he was on days off James Lacken stepped up and kept me up to date. Throughout this transaction - which took probably 2-3 months longer than it should have. I would never have known this, too. Remained professional, courteous and completely upbeat through Highly recommended
