GoogleLinda and family are the exception to the rule as far as estate agents are concerned. Lovely traditional family estate agency, an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble. We bought our property through Whittaker’s the process took 10 months as our buyer kept losing buyers, Whittaker’s kept us informed and updated regularly whereas our estate agents we were selling through didn’t even when chased!! I would highly recommend Whittaker’s - a great big thank you to all of you 😊

GoogleI can't recommend Whittakers Estate Agents highly enough, their level of customer service, care, and dedication is exceptional, very professional and all at the same time as giving you a feeling of familiarity and friendliness, they balance all of this perfectly. Due to personal circumstances, myself and my husband had neither the time, or mental capacity to deal with anything else. After searching the internet, very last minute for the advisory 3rd Agent valuation, which we almost didn't do due to lack of time, we rang Whittakers on a Sunday afternoon, yes Sunday!, and we are so glad we did. This family run business deserves every accolade going, they made a complicated situation so easy, stress free and simplistic. Linda was amazing and went above and beyond from start to finish, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Linda, you took everything off our very weary hands and drained minds, you made the entire process so easy for us. GoogleSold a property through Whittaker’s as an executor for close relatives. Very happy I placed the property with them. Found Linda and Darren to be efficient, good at communication, professional and friendly. They were also happy both to provide advice and discuss the inevitable hiccups that occurred during the process. Linda was additionally immensely helpful towards the end of the sale when she undertook visits to the property for various reasons which I could not easily do. I would wholeheartedly recommend Whittaker’s.

GoogleI cannot recommend Whittakers highly enough, from the initial phone call to the completion date they were superb throughout, especially as I didn’t live in the property, they made it a smooth process and took care of everything for me. Jim even went to check on a leaking tap and replace the Loft ladders back into the loft, left out by the Surveyor. Linda kept me fully informed every step of the way and was always there to answer any questions in a professional, friendly and efficient manner. GoogleLinda Whittaker has been an absolute star this last few months while my 85 year old mother was moving house, (I’ll get away with mentioning her age as she doesn’t use Google Maps much!). Linda dealt with everything from start to finish, many times going above and beyond to make sure Ma felt comfortable with the whole process. The team were always there at the end of a phone and nothing was too much trouble. GoogleWhat a great service we got from the Whittakers! A marvelous family firm who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly if we had been members of their family. From the first contact i was saved in Linda's phone and she always answered using my name. I don't know when these guys get a day off because we had contacts with them, when needed 7 days. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely cared about their clients and you felt that you were important to them. I was selling a property on behalf of an elderly Uncle who was in care, I live away from Bolton and only had a couple of occasions to meet in person - but the communication by phone and text was so comprehensive it couldn't have been any better if I had been in Bolton. On the rare occasions i couldn't get in touch immediately i always received an almost immediate holding text apologizing Linda was busy and that she would be in touch ASAP - and she always was. We had issues with a surveyor who was over zealous with works needed on the house and even managed to find some "suspected Japanese Knotweed" that caused panic to us and the purchaser. I was all set to drive over to the property (3 hour round trip) but Whittakers went round immediately, took loads of photos sent them to me and to a Knotweed specialist and between us we all concluded it was just a harmless weed, thank goodness. Without this action we would have had to get a specialist survey done to produce a "NO Knotweed certificate" issued at considerable cost! They have liaised with solicitors, builders for quotes, a very helpful neighbor who helped us with the house clearance, Gardeners to tidy the outside before marketing photos, the list goes on. We feel we got very lucky choosing Whittakers as we had 2 very local firms each seeming to offer something similar at prices that weren't too different. We asked around a bit from neighbors who all said go with Whittakers even though their fee was slightly higher and their valuation was slightly lower - so glad we did. We actually ended up with 3 offers simultaneously 2 at asking price and 1 £500 over!!! We couldn't have hoped for any better service and always so friendly and going the extra mile for us, worth every penny. Thank you.

GoogleNothing but praise for this Estate agent. The service provided by Linda is second to none. She is thorough with a warm and friendly nature. Nothing is too much trouble and her advice is great. She was not phased by the deluge of telephone calls we made and we never felt unable to ask for help. The sale was not straight forward but with Linda's support we felt we were in safe hands. The whole company feels small and homely yet efficient with a professional undertone. There are no corporate wanna be big wigs here. Well done Whittakers, you do Harwood/Bradshaw proud.

GoogleI initially chose Whittaker's Estate Agent in Harwood because it was convenient and I needed an urgent Probate valuation. This was done promptly and efficiently. Subsequently I required the house to be sold so I approached Whittaker's again as I had no previous experience of selling a house. This family run Estate Agent's could not have been more helpful - in fact the word FANTASTIC springs easily to mind. Linda explained exactly how things would progress and how she would contact me (in my case by text) every time there was something to report. She was true to her word as I was always aware just how things were going. Linda explained to me how I should make the house as presentable as possible so they could take the appropriate photos to make the house look as desirable as possible and the eventual internet photos certainly looked good as far as I was concerned. As it happened, Linda already had a Client on her books that was looking for a property just like mine so I was actually able to agree on a sale before my advert even went online. Even then Linda patiently took me step by step through the Solicitor process and settlement will be taking place shortly. I could not be more impressed with the service that I have received from the Whittaker family and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to any seller of a property in Bolton. Incidentally their fee I considered to be very reasonably helped by the fact that there was no VAT to pay on top of their fee. Thank you Linda and family.

Whilst we live in Blackpool they have more than fulfilled all our needs and requirements in the sale of ‘Nan’s Bungalow’ in Great Harwood.
