GoogleAmazing from start to finish. I was struggling to find somewhere to live for me and my son and from viewing the property until being handed the keys I was well looked after they really cared about my situation and wanted to make sure I got in as soon as possible.

He gave us sound advice and were definitely contemplating having Josephs because of the excellent customer service provided by them during the valuation of our property. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking to buy or sell their property and are new to the housing market.

GoogleI used Joseph’s for selling my house . A Friendly ,low cost ,local estate agents. Within 3 days of the house going up for sale an offer was accepted. Having initially spoke to a number of local estate agents, Adam's professionalism, flexibility, patience and polite attitude was paramount to using Josephs. The team were always on hand to deal with any enquiries. I will most certainly use Josephs again in the future.

GoogleTried calling and they were very dismissive, even going as far as to interrupt me while asking a question to say "thank you for calling". Won't let you discuss on the phone about properties so not sure why it's even an option to call them.

GoogleI WAS INTERESTED IN BUYING A PROPERTY AS A CASH BUYER. I BOOKED TO VIEW THE PROPERTY IN BOLTON. AFTER VIEWING , I CALLED JOSEPH ESTATE TO MAKE AN OFFER. I WAS TOLD TO SEND MY BANK STATEMENTS IN AS PROOF OF FUND AND ID. I SENT THEM THROUGH EMAIL I HAD AN EMMAIL RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY TO SAY ALL PROOF WAS ACCEPTED. I RANG THE NEXT DAY AND THE DIRECTOR ADAM ANSWERED THE PHONE , I EXPLAINED I HAVE PUT AN OFFER IN AND I WILL LIKE AN UPDATE. ADAM THEN ASKED ME IF THE MONEY WAS MINE AND WHERE DID I GET THE MONEY FROM AND BECAME VERY DEFENSIVE, I EXPLAINED THAT IS MY MONEY AND IT IS IN MY BANK ACCOUNT AND SOME IN MY BUSINESS ACCOUNT, HE THEN SAID TO ME COME DOWN TO THE OFFICE AND I WILL SHOW YOU HOW I GET DEFENSIVE, I WAS VERY SHOCKED AND CONFUSED AS WHY I WAS SPOKEN TO LIKE THIS. I THEN SAID IF THEY COULD DESTROY MY DOCUMENTS AS I DO NOT WANT TO GO AHEAD ANYMORE. ADAM THEN SAID THAT THE BANK STATEMENT AND MONEY WAS NOT MINE AND SAID IF I PUT A REVIEW ONLINE HE WILL NOT DESTROY MY DOCUMENTS AND HE WILL COME AND FIND ME . I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE POLICE AND TO TRADING STANDARD SO PEOPLE STAY AWAYNegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleBooked a valuation with the intentions of selling my home with them , received a call 2 hours before appointment saying sorry because of the lockdown we wont be able to attend, yet I booked the valuation 2 days prior when we was still in lockdown so why didn’t they say that at the time, needless to say I used another agent as if they did this to the seller the would surely do it to potential buyers....NegativeQuality, Professionalism

GoogleIn one year I stayed in an apartment managed by Joseph estate agents, I enjoyed excellent services, quick responses on any maintenance issues and smooth customer services on all issues of concerns. I wouldn't want to leave the apartment except for my new job which is outside Bolton. Importantly, I was refunded my deposit within 5 days after I had moved according to the company policy.

GoogleBIG SCAMMERS Agent pre-planned to keep interested buyers out to benefit someone. I worked it out after speaking to property owner. If you buying property from here than double check agents word with owner. My offer never recorded on system which I came to know after speaking lady at reception instead of agent I was speaking earlier. When I informed property owners, agent considered my offer for property which told me sold.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

FacebookDO NOT PAY A DEPOSIT, awful business, ADAM who is an employee there doesn’t know what he is doing and not fit for his job do not know how to conduct business I paid a £500 holding deposit and was told multiple times it was refunded if my planning permission did not go through for the building. The holding fee was paid to ensure that the property was reserved. I asked multiple times to ensure this was refundable. I was told by Adam a terrible employee who works for this shambles of a business, that my holding deposit would not be refunded and I should see it as “considered kept” by Joseph’s Estates Agents. The £500 “holding deposit” is not considered be used as administration costs as Adam said “who is going to pay for out costs”. Please stay away from this so called estate agents, and use a reputable agent, unless you want your money stolen.

GoogleAVOID, arranged to meet to view a property, nobody showed up, left emails, rang no reply, absolutely disgraceful service if you could call it that, wasted an entire afternoon. Property's they have advertised have since been let and they're still showing as for let.

Adam took fantastic photos to showcase our property for sale and Andrew has been wonderful and kept us informed every week with progress I never have to ring and chase them. Very dishonest, untrustworthy and dangerous. I can't imagine that I entrusted them with my personal ID. It scares me to think what else they could do. I live abroad and they began lease on my property without telling me or forwarding the funds they had taken in rent, and since then, have been covering up lie upon lie. They certainly know loop holes in the law and do everything to capitalise on this. I'm very disappointed.
You instructed us to lease your property as confirmed on email. All monies have been paid up to date to your account. Bad feedback left due to us not wanting to manage the property because of the poor condition it is in.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
