GoogleI have been a landlord now for 10 years plus with Dorset Property managing my property. Always efficient and professional but above all very friendly and personable. The move of the office out of Shaftesbury has not changed their management style. Elisha particularly who has recently taken over managing my property is excellent. Very forward thinking, a real problem solver before you knew there might be a problem! 10/10 from me.

GoogleI’m not sure where my initial review went but I wanted to give credit where it was due. Having dealt with a number of agents in the area a couple of years ago, this firm was by far the best (I didn’t end up renting through them as a property came up through an agent who is now my landlord). Grace, however, is fantastic at her job. She knows her stuff and has a great memory. She covers all bases before moving forward to ensure all the information is accurate. Compared to some in the area, this particular branch outshines them by a mile.

GoogleI was a long term landlord with Dorset Property. They were always supportive and decent to deal with. They helped quickly source local tradespeople to fix any issues at my property, helped with the sale (reduced rates) and after the sale was complete still stayed in touch when administrative council issues re-appeared in error. Their management rates were pretty standard for the area but even if they had been a little high I would happily use them again and recommend them without hesitation.PositiveResponsiveness

GoogleShould be no stars because of a terrible service, all they care about is money, they blag dates and rules on tenancy agreements and rob you of your deposit. I've spoken to many tenants that have dealt with Dorset lettings and not one of them has received there entire deposit back after moving out of a let. They encourage landlords to increase monthly rental amounts thus pricing local people out of the rental market. Just generally vile people to deal with, typical of most letting agents really. Let us hope the governments reforms on fee's and charges sinks this company or at least minimises there greed. Great Tip for anyone that is about to move out of a let...cancel your rent standing order and keep hold of the final months rent money until you move out. Do not pay the final months rent until you receive your entire deposit back.
