I would advise anyone who is looking to sell their property in Blackpool or surrounding areas to use Steph Tew Estate Agent. Me and my husband hired other local estate agents before Stephen Tew and none of them come close, in terms of service, organisation and communication. Main difference is Stephem Tew use the App which give up to date information regarding viewing bookings and offers etc which you do nkt have to chase. We had our firsf offer in less than 4 weeks albiet it was under the asking price which we rejected. Then a few weeks later we had 2 offers over asking price and we accepted one of them. I will advise everyone not to waste your time while selling your property, just use Stephen Tew and you will have peace mind experience. We are going to use Stephen Tew for our future projects. I completely disagree with the idea that buying a house has to be stressful, that certainly wasn’t my experience with Stephen Tew. The support from Simon, Natalie, and Nikki made the entire process smooth and straightforward. A complete waste of time trying to sell with these. Communication and follow-up have been extremely poor throughout. I specifically requested that the price of my property be reduced while we were travelling in order to encourage a quicker sale. After hearing nothing back, I checked again a month later only to find that the reduction had never even been actioned. To make matters worse, when I asked to be released from the contract just 6 days early so I could move quickly and try another estate agent, the response from staff was very defensive. They were quick to point out the “legally binding” 30-day cancellation period, despite the fact they have had the property on the market since before Christmas with very little progress. The 8 weeks I referred to was only the initial contractual agreement period, so I feel more than enough time had been given for proper communication, follow-up, and an active attempt to sell the property. Overall, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend using Stephen Tew Estate Agents.

We had an excellent experience with Stephen Tew Estate Agents right through the process from valuation all the way to sale. We were selling my late Dad’s house, and we weren’t in the local area anymore. Despite being so remote from the property they kept us updated on everything, and the number of viewings they got for the house was amazing. Thanks to Julie for her stamina on the day of the viewings, Simon for his excellent negotiation skills, and Natalie for chasing up the sale when things appeared to stall. Selling your home can be very stressful but they (Stephen Tew) made it a pleasant, easy experience. There's no denying they are more expensive than most other Estate Agents in the area (or online) BUT, unlike the others, they have an extensive cohort of potential buyers & sellers from all over the UK on their books. Utilising this together with only advertising on well-researched property sites they provided numerous serious potential buyers to view. I'm not very good with 'Apps' (they partner with the Street app) but I found it useful for keeping up with the many viewings they were doing on my behalf and it gives the position each potential buyer is in. Lots of viewings produced three offers and the house was Sold (STC) within 6 weeks of it being listed! I was quoted a fixed price and there were no hidden extras. I was happy to pay for such a professional, friendly service and I would highly recommend Stephen Tew Estate Agents to anyone buying or selling their home or business property.
