Fantastic family run local estate agents. Steve, Debbie and Georgina were all professional, yet friendly. I value their advice. They were always prompt in responding to emails, and were always at the end of the phone. I was always kept informed of any viewings, and all feedback from the viewers was always passed on to me. They recommended Cobains Solicitors, and I have to say that the 2 ladies (Hayley and Lauren) who dealt with the conveyancing of the house were equally efficient, and prompt at dealing with any problems or queries that I had… believe me, there were quite a few. All in all, both Raistricks and Cobains turned a rough ride into a pleasant journey.

We've just finished the process of buying our first home, and it’s been quite the experience - unfortunately, not in a good way, thanks to Duncan Raistrick Estate Agents. They have been, without a doubt, the worst estate agents my partner and I have ever dealt with. Their customer service team is incredibly rude, and the agent showing the properties didn’t even give us the full 30-minute slot we booked, leaving 20 minutes in and locking up behind them! We put in offers on two properties, slightly below the asking price, and were made to feel foolish for even considering it. If you're thinking about buying or selling a property, steer clear of Duncan Raistrick - I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. On the other hand, if you're looking for a great team to work with, we highly recommend Butson Real Estate. They give you plenty of time during viewings and have the best customer service we’ve experienced!

Avoid using this company just cost me 2.5k and about 2months wasted was nearly ready to swop contracts and they changed buyers what a joke of company the house is full of damp and mould. All this for more money greedy that's all it is will never buy a house of you had the worst experience with this place. If anyone thinking of going with these trust me don't bother as they tell you the house is liveable get a savory in yo find it's not liveable at all woodworm thought-out raising damp. Avoid at all cost

Top notch customer service.

I was the buyer in this case and Duncan Raistrick estate agents were acting for the vendor. The transaction was held up for several months due to a probate issue and I was not receiving any information from my conveyancer. The people at Duncan Raistrick answered my emails and kept me updated while my own solicitor ignored my emails and told me nothing. Worst estate agency I’ve ever come across! Saw 2 properties advertised with them on Rightmove when I called for a viewing the unprofessional receptionist said “ oh we’ve had a sale on those properties “ EVEN though still showing available online! When I complained, they said we don’t put under offer as people won’t phone us! Total time wasters. Avoid them!

They seem either completely unorganised or something fishy is happening. We have enquired about a property they have been advertising as up for sale from april 2020 until dec 2020 ( lomond avenue) but they say it's under offer each time, we have also phoned about 2 other properties and both times told they are not actually available anymore whilst still up on the web sites. Edit* Called today again about a property advertised as for sale and told it sold a month ago, so stand by my original statement either so unorganised they can't mark a property as sold or something odd is going on

Extremely poor experience and lack of professionalism. Had a viewing booked for 4 pm today. I notified the estate agent that I would’ve arrived 10 mins late, and it turns out the estate agents not only could not accommodate a really short delay and do the viewing at 4:10 pm instead, but they couldn’t have done 4 pm either due to staff constraints and poor communication with the property management agency. And they made it seem like it was my delay that was the issue, when actually 4 pm wouldn’t have been possible from the start. However, what is most upsetting to me is that they only called to inform me when I was on the train already to go and see the property - a 4 hour journey. And after the day before the viewing was confirmed again over the phone. So it’s honestly beyond comprehension to me how a short delay could be met with such intransigence. The viewing would’ve lasted more than 10 minutes anyway - this is just ridiculous.

Highly recommend Duncan Raistrick Estates. After switching from an alternative agent who weren’t delivering - Steve, Debbie & the rest of the team have been fantastic to deal with throughout.
