We used Stones young to purchase a property. From previous dealings with other estate agents that we had found to be rude and condescending and what sometimes felt like dishonest, I had reservations about any estate agent we would use. What I can say is that Stones Young were none of those things. They were a breath of fresh air and has totally restored my faith in decency within that industry. There were delays along the way, not of our control, but they were patient, and understanding throughout the process and kept in touch with us to discuss the progress. I don’t usually write reviews but I would recommend Stones Young to anyone that is looking at buying or selling a property. The staff are friendly and it was a great service from start to completion.

After having our house on the market with a previous estate agent and the sale falling through we switched agents. The service we received was excellent. The house sold STC after 4 days. We were kept up to date throughout the sale, given we were wary because of our previous agents this was appreciated. Stones Youngs agent, Mark, came to the house when the photos were taken and dealt with all questions professionally from the buyer and ourselves. I’m very thankful for everything he did including dealing with a nervous seller! I would highly recommend Stones Young estate agents and would recommend Mark if you are looking for someone who not only wants to make a sale but also listens to you as a customer and puts you at ease. I’ve found the team extremely difficult to deal with. Whenever I ask a question, they either don’t respond, forget to follow through, or patronise me when I raise something that needs attention. Harriet even hung up the phone on me while I was speaking politely, simply because she couldn’t be bothered to deal with me as a customer. When I ask to speak with Joane, someone else always calls back instead, so you never actually get clarity. Overall, the whole experience has been unprofessional, frustrating, and disappointing. I’m not surprised at all by the other 1-star reviews on trust pilot. Dont forget that the 5 star reviews on Facebook and google are not verified. I found it surprising why the reviews are high on one end and on the verified pages, so low! Happy to provide named and direct reviews if needed.
