GoogleWe had a great experience with Stones Young. The team were always friendly, helpful and supportive throughout what turned out to be quite a long process. We ended up both selling our home and buying our new one through them, and everything came together very smoothly in the end. The only funny thing was that I sometimes got phone calls asking for updates when the person calling could probably have just asked their colleague in the office instead! 😂 Aside from that, the service was excellent, and we'd happily recommend Stones Young to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Our house went on the market on a Friday and had sold on the Monday. We put an offer on the house we wanted and Karen was absolutely brilliant with both our sale and our purchase. Her communication is second to none. When Karen wasn’t available Sarah was there to guide and reassure us whenever we had any worries. They have proven both their patience and professionalism with my many phone calls and emails! Karen and Sarah make a fantastic team. I’m so pleased we chose Stones Young. GoogleI’ve found the team extremely difficult to deal with. Whenever I ask a question, they either don’t respond, forget to follow through, or patronise me when I raise something that needs attention. Harriet even hung up the phone on me while I was speaking politely, simply because she couldn’t be bothered to deal with me as a customer. When I ask to speak with Joane, someone else always calls back instead, so you never actually get clarity. Overall, the whole experience has been unprofessional, frustrating, and disappointing. I’m not surprised at all by the other 1-star reviews on trust pilot. Dont forget that the 5 star reviews on Facebook and google are not verified. I found it surprising why the reviews are high on one end and on the verified pages, so low! Happy to provide named and direct reviews if needed.

GoogleOnce we decided to sell our house it was an easy decision to use this local company with it's well-established reputation AND they certainly did not let us down.From the outset when visited by Joanne we were always treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. Whichever member of staff had any communication with us they were informative and supportive and prepared to impart their knowledge with any necessary advice. GoogleThey managed the sale of my property seamlessly. Gave advice when I needed it, managed all the viewings, which gave me piece of mind. All the staff i dealt with were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. I also bought my current property from them a few years ago, this experience made them my first choice for the sale of my house. GoogleOne of the Worse Estate Agents ever! All they do is LIE!... you put an offer in and they always say someone has made a higher offer than you even when there is no offer. Stay Clear of them!

We consider these to be spurious claims that unfairly misrepresent our business and could be defamatory. We operate with strict procedures and transparency when handling offers and negotiations and we categorically reject any suggestion that we mislead clients or fabricate offers. We also understand that it can be disappointing to miss out on a property, particularly in the current market where demand is high. Unfortunately, we cannot sell a property to everyone who wishes to purchase it and sometimes there will inevitably be disappointed prospective buyers. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss any genuine concerns directly and ask that anyone making such serious allegations provides the relevant evidence so that the matter can be properly investigated.
