My son bought a property from connells in Wolverhampton. Dishonest to say the least, failed to say the property had been rented, all meters removed due to dodgy dealings. Hence my son moved in with no services with 2 young children in tow. Please avoid these people dishonest is mildly put.

Phoned me up and booked a survey. Told me they would contact me the day before with a 90 minute time slot. Booked the day off work. No contact no one turned up. When they were contacted they denied all knowledge of contact. Even though I’ve got the original call in my phone log. Very unprofessional.

We dealt with the Exeter office in particular and it was shockingly bad service, no customer service, no communication, wouldn't take any responsible for their actions even when they were in the wrong which they were on numerous occasions. It was a really stressful and upsetting experience and one which I will never repeat, you have been warned!

Absolutely dire. These people have zero expertise. They undervalued my home by about 60k after a 10 minute viewing. Didn't ask any questions. The house was 180k. We spent 75k massively revamping and extending, and these fools valued it at 190k, despite a much smaller house 2 doors up selling for 230k. Absolutely preposterous. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible. . Worst service no help with problems and when we moved out completely on landlords side when demanding 100% of deposit even though we had left condition the same. Items listed on inventory that did not come with property the reason. In the end gave up as stressing us out. No care given to the customer only landlords. Will never use again.

Awful. Do not use these guys to sell your house. I was actually told that they would not allow me to view property simply because I did not want them to send me further sales paraphernalia. If they were selling my house and I found out that they had turned away a cash buyer I would be furious. AVOID!

Insulting, absolute clowns (estate agents words, not mine). Surveyed our property and valued it at 165k, even though we had 3 bids over 180k (181k and 2 at 186k). They have caused the collapse of the sale and the other bidders have moved on. I will not let them near our property again.

Horrendous experience with connells longwell green. Items of huge sentimental value went 'missing' after one of their members of staff entered the property. Didn't give a stuff about the theft when confronted. And have done virtually nothing to find the missing items. Horrendous

Booked a couple of viewings with their Swindon office for the properties they are selling, received texts to confirm the bookings and both times at last minute they ring to tell that they don't have time to show the property what a waste of time they are, losing clients and possibly losing a sell.

i have sold thru connells recently and let a property out thru them - never again!!! plenty of hidden costs and the initial payment doesnt cover what you think it does. service was terrible and patronising - they need to seriously rethink their business ethics and retrain their staff - very money hungry!! do it yourself or choose a smaller company

I wouldn’t even give one star. They have unlawfully charged us for a check in inventory despite not providing us with one - leaving us v vulnerable as landlords. Continually having to chase for response. Put in a formal complaint and almost 3 months later and a number of emails later - still no resolution or even a response.

0 STARS NEGATIVE FEEDBACKWe and other lady were waiting for viewing near house at arranged time, Connels Estates Hinkley did not arrive. When we called them they said that left a message about cancellation. They lied people, nobody recieved their message. AVOID THIS ESTATE AGENTS!

****You have been warned**** please don't trust them, we put in an offer for a property the offer was accepted only if we used their own solicitors, Samantha the agent told us that if we use our own solicitor then the price would go up by 2k. Have informed ombudsmen and they need to look in to this practice.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this agent at all costs!!! They appear to either be completely oblivious to their already abysmal reputation or simply care little to do anything to change it. This agent will do little or nothing to keep you informed throughout the sales process and employ dated and/or verging on unethical sales practices to achieve their desired outcome.

Recently arranged on the telephone with Robbie at Leighton Buzzard Branch to view a property in Leighton Buzzard. I arrived at the property and waiting for 20 minutes but nobody arrived. I contacted them and they said the computers diary had glitched and they didn't have a the appointed booked in. Wasted my time.

Wouldnt even give them 1 star. Absolutely appalling the way they spoke to myself on the phone. They spoke to me like I was a child. They wasn’t helpful over the matter that had risen. The sooner I can get out of this house and away from them the god damn better.
