From the moment we met Simon and Jamie we were impressed by Halls professional, but friendly approach. This approach was also demonstrated by all the staff we had contact with including Holly, Beth, Denise and, latterly, Lilly. Viewings were arranged promptly and we were given sufficient information in each case. There were no last minute cancellations and no-shows. Feedback was sought and passed on to us promptly. Once we had found a buyer, the post-sale process kicked in with Lilly and proved invaluable when faced with various challenges along the way. We would not hesitate to recommend Halls.

Halls were our second sales agent after our local branch failed to perform, and were recommended by a friend. The whole experience was great from the initial market appraisal where the valuer totally understood our situation and guided us through how to achieve what we wanted. The team in the branch arranging viewings were on the ball and a massive thank you to Colleen Harrison and Stephanie Eiken who were instrumental in ensuring the sale and our subsequent purchase went through. Colleen definitely went above and beyond and demonstrated the skills that are necessary in an estate agent. Slow, unresponsive to our enquiries. Vendor that was selling his house with this agency told us they took 10 days to send a photographer over for which they charge extra. They emailed us a viewing slot which me missed as we expected a telephone call. Our offer was accepted at full asking price. We were ready to move and proceeding - out of the blue the agency rang to inform us another party had offered a ‘ significantly increased amount’. We were gazumped! This word comes from the Yiddish word gezumph - which means to cheat! Overcharge! Although agencies have a responsibility to inform their clients of any offers even when STC , Most agencies actively discourage gazumping as it is bad for their reputation, and is seen to be unethical.

GoogleMy parents and I have used Halls on several occasions to buy and sell properties in the local county of Montgomeryshire in the last few years. I've recently sold a property in Churchstoke via David and his team at Bishops Castle. My first buyers pulled out in the last few weeks, but David quickly remarketed my house including "featuring" it on Rightmove and secured a sale again within days. This saved my bacon with regards a new build I'd already secured back in The Midlands. I couldn’t recommend Halls highly enough.

It was great experiences with Halls, especially my own with agent Kate Howells on the day I went for a viewing in Telford, Shropshire. From the first time I hit sending request for viewing to the viewing process, everything was processed smoothly and promptly. Ms. Howells also assisted me with great attitude and given thorough information about the property without me being pushed to ask such and such. She has been the best agent I have met, and the day of viewing feels so accomplishing and relaxing at the same time, considering I was the last to see the property.
