Extremely disappointing experience.
Communication has been consistently poor throughout my tenancy. I have made multiple attempts over several weeks via emails and calls, but responses have either been delayed or completely ignored.
There has been a lack of clarity and professionalism when handling key matters such as tenancy closure, invoices, and deposit-related queries. Even when incorrect information was raised (such as an inaccurate invoice), no timely action was taken to correct it.
As a tenant with time-sensitive circumstances, I expected at least basic responsiveness and accountability, which unfortunately has not been the case.
Overall, this has been a very frustrating and stressful experience due to the lack of communication and support. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

GoogleSiddall Jones were recommended to me and I have not been disappointed! We own a small office in the Jewellery Quarter but we pretty much work remotely now, so looked at leasing it out. Never done it before and Siddall Jones were great. Eight weeks after initial contact, and the new tenants have taken over. A lease was agreed within one week of listing, and it's all gone smoothly. GoogleDisappointed and unprofessional - would not deal with Siddall Jones again. Agreed terms and even met the landlord, head of terms were sent, and after leaving messages/emails, no response since. The unit I was interested in Spencer Street is still listed over 2 months later. As a landlord, I would exercise precaution in letting them handle my property, and as a potential tenant, I would recommend looking elsewhere. A simple email/call back would have gone a long way instead of ghosting me and wasting my time. The agent I dealt with was Sophie.

Looking for a commercial rental property twice I have made an appointment and twice I was ignored by the agent, we were interested in renting a property but again emails ignored. I find this company completely unprofessional. To any landlords please use another company not these guys!

GoogleEverything that can be said about Siddall Jones could be summarised when I had to explain to one of their agents that they weren't able give notice on a 12 month contract only 5 weeks in my residency, for that agent's line manager to tell me that the fault had come because the agent didn't know the basics of the contract.
Everything that can be said about their management is that they transferred my contract to another letting agency without the security deposit, so come the renewal of my tenancy, the new letting agents have attempted to get that deposit and have been ignored by them for about 2 months until I'm asked to get involved, at which point I speak to a thoroughly uninterested manager who gives me his assurances that he'll look into it. 7 weeks later I'm still without my deposit; Siddall Jones don't handle this property so they have no reason to hold the deposit - it'd take...10 minutes to respond to.
Exercise caution in dealing with Siddall Jones as a residential tenant.

To speed up the process, we asked if they had a partner law firm or a recommended one, believing this would help secure the property quickly. Despite having our own trusted law firm, we decided to trust Siddall Jones and use their recommended lawyer.
BIG MISTAKE. Despite numerous follow-ups from their recommended lawyer, the process dragged on endlessly. Ultimately, the seller withdrew our purchase and sold the property to another buyer! Throughout this entire ordeal, neither the lawyer nor Siddall Jones bothered to help us follow up or communicate with the landlord. As a result, we lost the chance to buy a prime property.
The landlord’s reason for withdrawing was that they received another buyer's deposit, which we were ready and able to provide as well. But NO ONE from Siddall Jones communicated with the landlord to understand his requirements, leading to this loss.
This fiasco cost us a prime property, wasted our time, and drained our money on mortgage applications and pre-purchase legal costs.
Totally unacceptable! DO NOT TRUST this company. They do not care about their clients AT ALL.

GoogleNo communication at all from them. They are a company that only care about money. Have previously had to get council health and safety involved for them to do something. Have sent not gas safe engineer to cap gas. Now fighting to get deposit back. Don't bother using them.
