*2021 Melvyn Danes Wythall were brilliant during the sale of our property. Every time we called the office the phone was answered straight away - Pat, Larissa & Jo were all really helpful & friendly & provided good updates on our sale progression. Our property was marketed for a reasonable price which attracted enough viewings for it to sell quickly & very close to what it was marketed for. All viewings were carried out by Danes, they were always on time & provided feedback on viewings to us if not the same day then the following. * 2026 we used Melvyn Danes Wythall again for our sale & our new purchase was also through them. Outstanding after sale support, communication & just generally really nice people. Pat, Larissa, Jo & Deborah are all really knowledgeable and on it, which keeps everything ticking along nicely & takes away any stress of moving house. Huge thank you to you all!

Our experience with Danes Wythall has been absolutely fantastic! As soon as we met Pat, we knew we’d be choosing Danes. She was so knowledgeable of the local area and she priced our house well (but was also realisitic☺️) All agents that did the viewings with Danes were always really organised and informative. Once the house was sold, Larissa and Pat were absolutely incredible with helping the sale go through. They were always on the other end of the phone and were SO helpful with any issues as well as informative. Larissa was always in touch with regular updates. The whole team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I’ve previously been unsure about the value of an estate agent but they proved themselves to be worth their weight in gold. Everything was arranged for us and they managed to secure the price we needed for both the sale and purchase. What can I say about the team? Nothing short of exceptional. Larissa kept us up to date throughout the process and responded to my constant queries promptly. The lady who showed us round could not answer any of our basic questions to do with the property. All was going okay after offer until we wanted to pull out due to a bad survey report which we are within our right to do. Pat was very stand offish and didn’t let us talk or discuss negotiations, even going as far to say only 3 pages of the 50+ survey report actually mattered. She said they won't reduce the asking price because they accepted our offer and cancelled other viewings, we did not ask for this that was the vendors choice. We then saw a second property and the same lady showed us around and again couldnt answer any of our questions. This was just one of the many poor examples throughout the process. This was not a nice experience especially as a couple buying their first home together. Would not recommend. The 1 star was for removing the sold sign within 24 hours.

Very poor experience. All viewings were unprofessional and the lady that showed us round couldn’t answer any of our questions and had no information to hand about the property. On our second viewing we were given only 10 minutes to look around as she had to rush off to another viewing. Any conversations over the phone were stand offish, rude and unprofessional. I will avoid booking any viewings with properties under this agency in the future.

HORRIBLE. Found a property wanted to view to rent. originally spoke to a lovely lady who was going to try to get me a viewing a few days later. We spoke a few times that day as they were trying to get in touch with the tenant. Phoned next day for updated. different Lady on the phone immediately sighed loudly before I had even said a WORD. Then pretended to know nothing at all, didn’t look up details all she did was asked the room sarcastically (I heard) if anyone had taken a call yesterday and basically implied I had lied. I would have taken that place off the market if I could have seen it in a few days. Now will never use them again!
