I had a very upsetting experience with the front desk at Aston Place who named B. During an Uber Eats delivery, I explained that I had injured my knee and could not easily come downstairs. Instead of handling the situation calmly or offering support, the interaction escalated into conflict. I was repeatedly referred to as “he” even after my roommate corrected this multiple times, and I was also described as an “illegal tenant” because my name is not on the tenancy agreement. What made this worse was the management response afterwards. I was told that “pronouns can be complicated” and that this may have been a misunderstanding because of my surname. That does not adequately address repeated misgendering after correction, nor does it address the inappropriate “illegal tenant” comment. Idk if he can legally work here tho

I moved to Birmingham during an extremely unstable time in the world, as we faced COVID-19. I wasn’t able to physically attend a viewing but received videos, and made use of the online tools on the website. On arriving, I was blown away with the level of customer service I received and still now continue to receive. The most hassle and stress free move I’ve ever made. Unlimited internet, bills automatically set up. All I had to do was unpack my belongings. Area is perfect, the following is less then a 5min walk. - New Street Station - Bull Ring -Tesco/Sainsbury -Bars/Restaurants Gym, function room, parcel storage(self service ) and underground car park and cycle storage to suit everyone’s personal needs.PositiveQuality, Professionalism, Value

Lived in Aston Place for 18 months. Amazing place to live in the heart of Birmingham. Great views whichever aspect you have. I lived on an upper floor so the views of south Birmingham were spectacular. The rooms and fixtures are well designed laid out and of high quality. The staff are professional friendly and helpful in particular the Concierges and the Handyman team. Everything is to hand in the building with a small but we’ll equipped gym and a communal lounge and reception area. The staff are continuously trying to create a family spirit within the block with special events and team activities. The location is superb perfectly situated for all aspects of Birmingham City centre whether it be the Bars and Restaurants, Shops, Railway station, canal network, nIghtlife or exhibitions and culture. I would thoroughly recommend Aston Place as a place to live in the heart of Birmingham.PositiveQuality, Professionalism

Recently I moved in to a one bedroom apartment at Aston Place, Suffolk Street Queensway. I am really happy with the service provided by Dandara Living. Special thanks to Tayla for showing me this wonderful home which made me want to move-in instantly. Thanks also to Radha who assisted me by ensuring the process was done nice, smooth & efficiently... Having lived in this apartment for a few months now, I want to take this opportunity to elaborate on my experience so far: On-site staff led by Kishor Tahiliani have been exceptional in creating a comforting and welcoming atmosphere for residents. Kishor is very professional and friendly. The concierge is one of perks of living in this building. Special thanks to Kishor & Vicky too for assisting me on payments plans.

Walkable distance: tram (4min), Birmingham library (6min), Mail Box (8min), New Street Station (10min), so great amenity, quiet area despite locating in the centre of Birmingham. The staffs here are great, reliable and very friendly, really swift reply for my problems and they've been so helpful while I was moving in. Every room has its portal and residents can access free magazines paid by the development, view all past transactions and report maintenance issues. Parcels would be signed by conceiger and residents would get a text & email notification with QR code to scan at the storage facility while collecting. There is also a gym, coffee area, a big room at ground floor bookable for party/ dining etc. Rooms are nice and cozy with a balcony. I find the rent slightly expensive but worthy for the service and quality of accommodation, so definitely recommend.

I was among the very few people who moved to this place. I’m staying in the one bed room apartment and since the time I moved till now I faced no problem at all with Aston place. The place is so brilliant and close to new street station and city center. The staff at Aston place is so polite and respectful. The operations managers Mr. Tahiliani is such a well mannered and pleasant gentleman who’s always there to help and take care of any issues happening with any one living at Aston place.

The exterior and interior are kept neat and modern with exciting decor Lifts available. The price of apartments is quite steep compared to the ones available in the city centre You have access to onsite activities and Gym You have access to a range of services like book and gardening clubs There is no parking onsite unless agreed with Just Park . Street Parking is available during the day

Moving into Aston Place was one of theee smoothest experiences I’ve had to date. We (fiancé and I) moved into a one bed apartment late last month. We first met Tayla -who was really nice, she showed us around and gave us all the options we could pick from. After we gave the thumbs up, Radha pretty much took care us (and to this day still stays in touch answering any questions we have)! We never once felt rushed to move in and there was a different level of care for us as tenants compared to other agencies we’ve dealt with. Radha was honestly amazing- loved her enthusiasm throughout the move in process and the fact that she constantly kept us in the loop! The concierge staff are all generally friendly too, which is a nice change. The site itself is impeccably CLEAN, has a refreshing feel and location is an added bonus! :)

Horrible company who claims to care about their residents but really don’t. Some of the gym equipment was out of service for over 8 months. The lift in the building was out for a month and everyone was complaining. The fire alarms don’t work and the evacuation procedures are horrible. They don’t give you back your deposit on time and deduct money for things that you haven’t done and the bin store is disgusting and never clean. All this and they charge you £1100 for a tiny apartment. But we have a concierge service … please. It’s all fluff and no substance and far from value for money.

Don't rent here! They don't have a professional management team! The manager here changes every month, and they are constantly going back on their word, even with email evidence. They make you pay rent but don't give you the keys, citing some kind of policy, but they can't even show you this policy. You end up paying a month's rent for nothing, without getting the keys or being able to move in. This is illegal!!!!

It’s been a week since I moved in from abroad. Since day 1 it felt like I am among family and friends, everyone has been very welcoming, helpful, considering in many different aspects and ways. The apartment is wonderful, as seen in pictures snd described on the website. The Furniture is great in quality, yet modern and cozy in style. An online portal helps us stay in touch with all managerial staff in The Dandara Living, which gets things done efficiently and in no time. One special Thank you goes to Paul, with his warm welcoming smile, continues help, and great work he has definitely made my move in way easier, he made it feel like home already.

Awful service. Signed a contract for a flat we should have moved into over the next few weeks. Was then later told that the current tenant would like to recind their notice so unfortunately we couldn’t have it anymore. We had signed a contract, paid a holding deposit all for nothing. Customer service was awful by the property manager Paul Sherrington. Basically said ‘these things happen’ - sought legal advice and they told us the opposite. His reply to that was I think they’re wrong? Disgrace to be honest. Rented with them through manchetser and never had any issues.

Enquiring for this place is a horrible experience . They are not responsive , emails get ignored . When you call the receptionists sound sleepy and they tell you that someone will get in contact with you but no one ever calls you back. Been trying to get in contact for weeks but it’s been impossible . This is very unprofessional & bad customer service . Your staff are not doing their job and it looks bad on you. So far I am really pleased with the move into Aston Place. The staff have been really friendly and helpful and it is great to have a concierge service. The apartments are really well designed to make good use of the space and are bright and modern. Hopefully it won’t be too long until we can enjoy more of the facilities and the local area if we can gradually come out of the restrictions that have affected us all since March. So far so good, hoping it continues!
