I've used Ashley Borne for sales and lettings. Mitchell Sadik initially dealt with my purchase and first tenant, I received very good service. I guess if you are reading this then you are considering entering a potentially stressful period! Stephen Price is overseeing my current situation. Stephen has been extremely helpful and appears to be on top of things, keeping all lines of communication open, nothing is too much trouble. He has been very supportive and is knowledgeable. I am very happy with the service. I would definitely recommend Ashley Borne. They are very attentive to your needs and listen too! I am in good hands and feel valued. It's hard to come by good customer services these days.

I have to say dealing with Ashley Borne Sales were first class from start to finish. Stuart was my first point of contact, he showed me the house i purchased and i asked for a valuation on mine. He was so genuine, warm and professional i decided to sell my property also with Ashley Borne. Nothing was too much for Stuart he went above and beyond for me in securing the sale on my property and the purchase of me new home. Andrew dealt with the Sale side of things and also did everything possible to assist in getting things moving, not an easy task but you were great. There were complications but that wasn't anybody's fault other than the person who was originally buying the property letting us down. But we got another buyer in no time. Ashley Borne and my Solicitor's Davison's ( Cotteridge ) were excellent, Maria who dealt with the legal side was top of her game, and what a great Lady she had a difficult job dealing with the buyers Solicitors ( Countrywide- avoid at all costs, shocking setup ) but Maria and Ashley Borne got it all over the line and i am now a very happy home owner- i have gained a new home and met some fantastic people......thank you all i would give you 10 stars ********** Eileen x

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED - WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THE ONE STAR. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Based on Ashley Borne's recommendation we signed a tenancy agreement with Crest Housing on the basis that they will follow the terms in the contract. One of those terms was that they will maintain the house, the garden was never kept tidy and the bushes were cut once in the three years they had the house. There was always garbage in front of the house. One of the terms was that pets were not allowed, this was breached many times as well. As for Ashley Borne, for the 3 years they were supposedly managing the house they NEVER ONCE called to schedule inspections, I was the one always chasing them whether it was regarding the inspections or the missing rent payments. Although the constant chase to get information from the 2 employees left at this company was a headache, the end of the tenancy became a nightmare for us. Crest Housing was to return the house in the same way it was given to them according to the contract terms, but they refused to provide a date for when they were leaving as well as if they were going to conduct any repairs. The house was in a STATE, the multiple dogs in the house had soiled everywhere, and the walls had holes or marks in them. There was garbage all over the front garden and an old, disgusting caravan that had not been removed, the furniture we had provided had been thrown outside. Crest Housing refused to return the house on the date the contract had ended since the house was not in the same condition. They took 2 weeks after the contract ended to return the keys. The "repairs" they did were poorly painting the walls, throwing some wall repair mix on, and calling it a day. Oh no sorry, they did change the carpet. In return though they decided to take all our furniture from the house. Regarding the disgusting caravan, we had to keep asking until Crest Housing removed it, but they forgot to the owner of the caravan. Now the owner keeps coming to the house and threatening us to return the vehicle that we never moved in the first place. As for Ashley Borne, how helpful were they as the people managing the house? How much advice did they give? Well, the one employee in the letting department went on leave for this whole period, and the other two employees... well when God finally listened to our prayers and they finally picked up our calls all we would hear back is "We will let him know" "we aren't in the letting department but we will let him know" "he's on leave at the moment but I will contact him" etc etc. It was Ashley Borne's responsibility to take action against Crest Housing for breaching the terms of the contract but they barely communicated with us let alone actually help us. They let us suffer like this, so WHAT DID I ACTUALLY PAY THEM FOR? They will take your money but never actually do their job. I say save your money, stay away from Crest Housing and Ashley Borne.

Having had poor, low quality experiences with other agents in the past, I decided to go with a smaller, non-corporate agent and I wasn't disappointed. From the word go they were 'switched on', they had my property on the Rightmove within 24 hours instead of the normal 7 to 10 days with other agents. Stuart presented a really good write up and really presented the property to its best. They accompanied every viewing, took on board everything I said, communicated with me every step of the way, when they sold my property to the third viewer, they called and gave me pointers on purchasing forward and making offers etc, even advising me on the forward purchase. Use this agent they do what they promise, unlike a lot of other agents who promise the earth at the valuation meeting and then don't deliver on their promises. I would give this agency TEN stars if I could.

They were acting on my behalf to let my property, every month I was chasing rent as it was never on time, he never communicates with you when asked and now he won’t disclose what he has done with my tenants deposit . If anyone can give me any contact details of Adam or Ashley’s home address I would be very grateful. Shop has closed down and is empty now. No stars from me. 16 months ago, the owner did not lodge the deposit as he was supposed to. Did not pass on rent, either. I chased him up about the deposit and finally, when pushed continuously, he deposited the correct monies with one of the government approved agencies. I now collect the rent directly from the tenant. But I do wonder what happened to all those deposits (and rent) he did not process properly. Well lets guess.??

Spent so much time looking for the house for us, spent time processing and getting paperwork sorted, only to find out information had been withheld from us regarding the property. It was only through a full survey we paid for did it come to light the property had asbestos in it. The agent essentially told us, after the survey and paperwork had been submitted, straight up that owners knew about asbestos and then tried to correct himself by saying they had suspicions. We were lucky we hadn’t signed any contracts at this point even though they kept pushing us to, to make a quick sale. Despite us openly expressing our concerns, it was made clear to us that not a care was given and rather than help us to address the issue, they then tried to make it seem okay to sell asbestos filled houses to unknowing buyers without making them aware of it, by stating something along the lines of, the majority of houses we’ve sold probably have asbestos in them and it’s never been an issue, not everyone will complete a full survey, so to not be made aware of something that is a huge health risk and selling houses to unknowing buyers which you know has issues is morally wrong. it was basically said if you don’t want it we will put it back up. Then when we asked if they would make the future buyers aware of the asbestos problem, they simply replied with “the current owners didn’t have a problem with it” meaning they didn’t have issue with asbestos in their roof, so in short terms, no we will not make future buyers aware and will continue to misguide buyers

Asked for a valuation however took a week before they would come out, and then they cancelled too long to wait. I understand the person was ill but I had already waited too long. All I can say is they had missed opportunities by being slow to value. I'm thinking if they take this long to value what are they like when selling property. I would like to support local businesses but as they say the early bird catches the worm. It's all about first impression, I can't believe they are throwing away property sales leads like that. Overall, the gentleman who I spoke to was very courteous and polite.
