I was shown around 2 properties yesterday by a lovely lady called Mia Steven’s from Miles and Barr . Looking for a home can be very stressful and Mia put us at complete ease . She was very bubbly , chatty lady and answered all of our questions . Mia gave us plenty of time to look around each property and explained in great detail what would happen next . I would highly recommend Mia to anyone who may find the process of finding a home for your family a tad daunting . Very highly recommended

I initially registered with a couple of the smaller “family” agents in Broadstairs to sell my house and look for another but genuinely lost faith in the whole process until I decided to go with a refreshingly unpushy Charlotte in Broadstairs who helped me find my dream home. Through no fault of Miles and Barr, it’s taken a while to get to exchange but Lisa Cook has been fantastic in calmly dealing with everyone involved and offering advice and guidance all the way through since offers were accepted. I’ve just exchanged and can’t wait to move. 100% recommend.

I used Miles and Barr as the company are local to the property i was selling. My initial contact and interactions with Ryan of the Westgate branch were excellent and he was able to answer all my questions or find an answer. I felt valued as a client. This continued through my sale and the help of Debbie Mead. Excellent. She answered ALL my emails and phone calls and was able to help with interactions between the buyer and Myself and Solicitor. Debbie was robust at problem solving and i don’t think the sale would have been as smooth if it wasn’t for her and her work behind the scenes. I would recommend the company and staff above highly.

I was in quite a long chain which resulted in a fraught and very stressful journey but Louise my Sales Negotiator worked tirelessly to get my sale over the line and I finally moved into my new property in December 2023. We contacted someone at the company and arranged a viewing. Only to be told that this person had decided they weren´t able to show us around. Rather than inform us that someone else was taking up our request they transfered us onto someone else who then tried to cancel the viewing.

Lisa Cook from Miles and Barr has been by far THE most helpful person I've had the pleasure of dealing with in the entire process and quite honestly without Lisa's patience, understanding and wealth of knowledge I may have genuinely lost the plot by now. Was very happy with miles and Barr the team are all very happy and friendly nothing was to much trouble I sold my house in 3weeks a big shout out to Louise Daly she has been brilliant even when we hit problems with the buyers solicitor she kept me informed at all times by text e mail or phone nothing has been to much trouble she worked so hard liaising between the buyers solicitor and mine it has been a long 6 months but have got there I move on Monday 15th Thankyou Louise you are a credit to miles and Barr and a really lovely person

We chose Miles and Barr because they were competitive. Our early experience was poor to begin with. However, a lot changed once Ben king and Louise Daly became involved. Mr king was resourceful and dependable in his communications as well as problem resolution. Louise Daly basically managed the bulk of the process which was fraught with difficulties due to the slowness of other firm’s employees. She was proactive and skilled in motivating colleagues from other companies to keep pace. My wife and I agreed that without her input this deal would not have been completed before Xmas. Louise was completely reliable, honest and efficient. We would have despaired had she not been holding every thing together.We can’t speak highly enough of her professionalism though I’m sure she’d say I’m just doing my job.Thank youTony and Jo.

Miles and Barr didn’t sell our property, but we did buy a property marketed by them. Their service was excellent especially Louise the sales progressor, who kept me updated throughout the process. There were a number of issues in the final week before completion. Matt was professional, personable and honest about market conditions - no false promises and genuine from the get go. Matt talked me through market comparisons and realistic outcomes - he managed my expectations from the outset and cautioned me house sales averaged 5 months to complete. Matt nailed it! Thank you Matt! Highly recommend Shannen their professional photographer who set up the online 3-D walk through for prospective buyers - She did an amazing job. This service is invaluable - it genuinely helps prospective buyers and deters time wasters. Huge thanks to Debbie Mead the sales progressor - lightning speed comms - this service alone is worth the agency fee!
