We haven't had to go through the nightmare of moving house for over forty years but we survived the emotional roller coaster this time round thanks to Stanton Hockett. Not easy for two eighty year olds I must admit who simply want to go live near their daughter up north! We approached the move with trepidation but their approach from the outset was totally re-assuring and empathetic. Tom started the ball rolling with his no fuss approach and we then graduated to the big guns, Brad & Gavin, after they found us a young couple to buy our treasured family home. They might have been a dating agency so suited to us were our young buyers. As apparently often occurs our journey through the legal processes to exchange and completion took us between peaks of elation to valleys of frustrated despair and back again but they were there to support us when we needed it. Thank you Tom and Lewis, thank you Gavin and most of all thank you Brad for your impeccable service to us in the sales progression stage. We are on our way now and feeling a whole lot better about our future.

After having other estate agents come and value our property, it was clear after one meeting with Tom Fitch that we made the right decision to go with Stanton Hockett. Tom got the house on the market and sold at full market price within one weekend. After our original purchase feel through Tom kept our buyers informed of our situation and managed to manage their expectations until we found another property. Without Tom being our agent I’m pretty sure the whole chain would’ve collapsed. After many stressful and long days we finally exchanged and completed on the same day which was stressful for everyone but Tom was speaking with the solicitor and agents for the house we were buying to help get the move over line. I highly recommend Tom and Stanton Hockett.

Highly recommended. I cannot speak more highly of this company for several reasons. It's quite rare to find a company that provides satisfactory service these days, let alone an outstanding one. Well, they absolutely exceeded my expectations by a long shot! Firstly, everyone I dealt with in this business was friendly, helpful, and polite. I used them for what turned out to be a highly complex sale/purchase, and I genuinely believe that had I not used Stanton Hockett, I would never have moved. If you need an estate agent, look no further! I received a very professional service and Gavin was courteous throughout. Stanton Hockett recently sold my 2 bed flat in Leigh-on-Sea and I must say that Gavin and the team were excellent all throughout the process. Everything was incredibly smooth and efficient, the photos of the flat were amazing and the strategy was spot on. The flat sold in less than a month and probably would have been quicker without Christmas inbetween.
