GoogleAfter reading the reviews of Regent Estates it appears the majority are from those selling or renting properties with them. I would like to give you my experience as an individual who was very interested in renting one of their many properties. I was able to arrange a viewing last weekend of a property I really liked after calling on 3 separate occasions and finally speaking to someone who booked it in and then received confirmation from someone else. Another individual took the viewing who was lovely but could not answer any of my questions about the property and told me to email these to the previous person I had been dealing with via email. I subsequently saw 3 other properties online that I would like to view, I rang on Monday morning to enquire and arrange viewings and was assured the individual who deals with lettings was unavailable but would call me back imminently. I did not hear anything. I then called again on Wednesday to check in and ask if possible to arrange for Friday. I spoke to the same man who said "yes I spoke to you before and will chase why this hasn't been done and they should ring you first thing in the morning (Thursday) to arrange for Friday. When I still did not hear I rang again to voices my concerns and feedback to the manager. The man I had spoken each time assured me he was the owner and when I shared my feelings/experience he rather aggressively said "Do you want to just leave it then?". Forgive me but I thought their job was to find tenants for properties? I am unsure how they do this with such awful customer service and if they never call or email potential tenants back! If I was selling or looking to rent out my property I would definitely NOT use this agent as booking a viewing for potential tenants has been near impossible.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleThis company are a disgrace. We rented a property for over 4 years with them as an agent which was OK until it comes to you leaving. 1. Though they agreed I could attend the check out, they carried it out without telling me and then made spurious demands for deductions from deposit. 2. Had work carried out after we left by their "preferred contractors" at well above market rate. This work was carried out with no written quotations or consultations with us and we were simply expected to pay their rates. 3. Have as yet failed to return a rent overpayment made in our final (partial) month despite the threat of legal action. 4. They recommended me a cleaning company to carry out a final clean at a cost of £200. This was not an itemised quotation and I carried this work out myself in 3 hours (they added 2 hours of extra cleaning so 5 hours in total) - how can an agent think £40 an hour for cleaning is acceptable? Overall, OK when you're a tenant but a nightmare to leave as they simply try to squeeze as much out of you as they can.
