I had the absolute pleasure of living in my home for the last 4 years. I rented through YPG and had absolutely no issues. Any trouble with the house which wasn’t very often was sorted within the day. I would always recommend Your Property Geeks - Jim and Jamie have always been a pleasure. Even when handing my keys back they offered recommendations for joiners etc for my newly purchased home. We put our buy to let apartment up for sale in February with another estate agent in East Belfast, purely for the fact they were managing our buy to let. That was a mistake, they cost us money and 6 months down the line the apartment was still not sold and was sitting empty, costing us more money. We approached YPG who called out the next day, valued the property and got new photos done and it listed within 3 days. I am happy to say it was sale agread within the week and completed shortly after. Jamie and the team kept us updated regularly and nothing was too much trouble for them. First class service and we'd highly recommend YPG over the other longer established estate agents in Belfast.

Property Geeks Review I cannot recommend James O’Malley and Property Geeks highly enough. I have recently had to sell my property due to an incredibly difficult family upheaval, to say I was in a very bad place was an understatement. I was being forced to sell up and ship out. I had approached many estate agents in the Belfast area and got the same Covid excuse, “Sorry sir but we don’t know what’s happening, not sure if we can sell your property during the Summer of Corona 19 was the answer” I was caught in an emotional ecosystem of fear, and making no headway. The response from Property Geeks was completely different. When I met with the owner James, I was under a lot of pressure and I was not coping. James immediately put me at ease, we shared a coffee and he assured me that he would be able to sell my property, even under the current gruelling government induced economic onslaught called “Coviditis”. No Ifs, no Ands, no Buts and no May-Bees to sting me, just the truth. Having now completed the sale to my satisfaction, I can rest easy knowing that my family and I will move forward with a more positive future. James was relentless in his efforts to sell my property and his own family of staff that surround him were courteous and friendly and easy to deal with at all times, giving space, listening to my needs and keeping me up to speed on the sale. James and his staff turned what could have been an horrendous life event into a positive and life affirming one. Everyone is extremely kind and courteous. Very understanding and accommodating and always work with the tenant to help sort out an issue. A huge thanks to Jamie, Josh and Jim for always being one step ahead of the game and making sure their tenants are well looked after. They were my agents for 1 year and throughout my tenancy, I never had a problem with them. Jamie and Jim are committed to their work and equally committed to understanding of our needs as a seller. To meet someone who is so committed to understanding of our goals is very rare, however Jamie has set the bar high. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Jim O’ Malley. I first met Jim at the property of my late cousin, while he was sorting out a problem with the neighbouring apartment, and was in discussion with us as to how it would affect us. I informed Jim that the apartment belonged to my late cousin and we were in the process of clearing it out. Jim was exceptionally helpful in giving us excellent advice and suggestions, that would bring the apartment to a high standard, if we were considering selling it. Our assessment of our first and subsequent encounters with Jim was outstanding, his professionalism, his manner , and transparency inspired confidence in us. On discovery that Jim owned YPG Estate Agents , we decided to give him the sale of the apartment. February 2020 At a time when everyone seems to want to write negatively about everything and everyone, I feel compelled to give credit where credit is due. From the very inception of trying to purchase a first time home for our son in Belfast, Jim provided valuable advice. Not being from Belfast, it was wonderful to have such an honest, knowledgeable person to arrange viewings for different properties across the city and to accompany us on these viewings. Once our choice had been made and purchase completed, Jim took on the role of project manager of a major renovation and executed it in the most professional manner. Distance was no longer a concern for us as we knew the entire renovation project was in safe hands. He sent us regular photographic and video updates and consulted us throughout. He dealt with all the necessary building control matters and certifications. With Jim’s numerous contacts and no nonsense approach, and a superb team around him, Property Geeks has given a completely new lease of life to a very old, dilapidated building which was in desperate need of a lot of tender loving care. The property has been transformed from top to bottom into a re-configured, well-insulated, energy efficient, modern home. My husband and I have lived in 5 properties over the years, all “projects”, and I can safely say this was the most stress-free of them all. It came in more or less on time and within budget and I can only put that down to Jim and the professional team he has built around him.
