Every year poor services of maintenance!!!

Every year we have to leave a poor review to this maintenance company!!!! It takes literally days to come and contact you in regards of fixing your watter issues (some very old boiler broken)!!! And then it takes them some more additional days to have someone available to come and check, because their availability is not OK when it is for you too.... And if you tell them 3x times you are not available on the evening when they call you (after days have passed), they keep on pushing it as they would be literally deaf!!!! And we have this little process every year 2 or 3x times... Because the boiler is suuuuuuper baaaaad and oooooold!!!! Very poor quality and extremely old!!! The company suuuuper ruuude!!!! Other then that they could just put a proper boiler but hey hey... They do not want to....So very very upset about the quality of their services!!!!

To determine our home's value for sale, I completed a Zoopla form that forwarded our information to several local estate agents for valuation. Reeds Rains Cheadle branch contacted me by phone and gathered personal details and property information during a seven-minute call. They scheduled an appointment a few days later. However, I received a subsequent call indicating they could only value the property if it was listed immediately.In summary, they collected all necessary information but failed to achieve the primary objective, resulting in a waste of time and unprofessional behaviour on their part.

Reeds Rains - horrible experience and they will cheat you!

I dealt with Macclesfield branch as a landlord. They will be very nice to you and get you sign a contract with vague contract. They will make sure they don’t tell you important information. In my case I wanted to end fully managed contract as a landlord after tenancy agreement was ended and they asked me to pay full months rent as an exit fee. They have this clause in contract that you do have to pay exit fee but the whole contract is written as if it all applies for tenure of tenancy agreement, and that’s where they will cheat you!!! I had to pay money to come out of contract since property ombudsman is useless and takes month to reply. My advice is to make sure you ask them to write down very clearly about any exit clause but rather not use them because they cheat you through their terms

The process has been super quick, my house went up for sale on their website on the Friday and an offer accepted on the Saturday. I am a Landlord

I am a Landlord. I am in the UK Armed Forces and I spend @ 66% of each year overseas. Unfortunately I was overseas when my flat became vacant in January 2019. I contacted Reeds Rains in Didsbury Manchester to collect the keys and assume Marketing & Management for any Letting; Greg Snow of Reeds rains, assumed this role. Unfortunately, now it's August 2020 and Eon Electricity are threatening me with County Court Action due to outstanding Electricity Bills. I've Let and Managed Property since 1999; it's very easy. Unfortunately, Greg moved in a new tenant and stupidly only took a single electric meter reading. There are 2 meters due to there being Economy 10 Heating and you cannot mistake them becasue they are next to each other in the hallway at the entrance to the flat, in a cupboard levelled at waist height. Also, his management of the tenancy was appalling. It usually took @ 3 days for him to reply to my communications, if at all and the tennant had the same issues. Reeds Rains office staff in Didsbury were jolly and pleasant on the telephone but in general, were all young and transient office staff, whom were very ill informed on most matters and although willing to help, they were unable to. I've decided that Not having Reeds Rains Manage my property is much easier.....stress!

Slow, misrepresentative and poor attitude

I’m in the process of trying to rent a flat through this company and the level of service hasn’t been great. The listing for a studio shows a 1-bed and gives a studio rent; the virtual tour is the same. I’ve asked repeatedly for an application form and they’re dragging their heels with providing this to me. I love the property and I want to move there as soon as I can but the way the company has acted so far is seriously making me want to look elsewhere. The attitudes of the letting negotiators and agents are also really poor considering I’m eligible, eager and highly interested.

I sold my house through Reed ballyhackamore Martin was who I dealt with and I have to say he worked very hard to make sure we sold our house and got the house that was meant for us. With a seller dropping out on us last minute he worked extremely hard to get our house sold as fast as possible with he did, in 1 week he resold my home. Well what can I say, I am totally overwhelmed by the absolutely phenomenal and professional service offered by Reeds Rains Ballyhackamore. Our house purchase process took a few unforeseen twists and turns but Pat was an absolutely fantastic help and offered first class service throughout. Without her knowledge and expertise we would have not been able to get to the position we are now and are forever grateful to her. No job was too big or small and she took the time to go out of her way to keep us up to date with regular communication throughout, she is a total credit to Reeds Rains. I couldn’t recommend enough and having had first-hand experience of a number of estate agents throughout the greater Belfast area, Reeds Rains are by far the best.

I cannot speak highly enough about the excellent treatment I was given by Reeds Rains Evesham branch. Jeremy and Jack were so helpful during the whole experience, not only during this covid time but I also lost my partner and was left on my own. They helped me so much even before they reopened the office and sold my property to the first viewers and got me the full asking price. Wow how was that. All done in about five weeks. Moving in two weeks. Could not ask for more. Well done Evesham!

Premium price but not premium service - Holderness Road, Hull branch

This estate agent's fees are nearly double that of other estate agents in Hull to sell a property and the service they provide is appalling. They wanted to charge me an additional £200 for photos of my property 3 weeks before Christmas. I refused and took photos of the property myself. After the sale was agreed I waited a month for an update on how the sale was progressing and in the end had to ask for it. In that time the Sales Associate dealing with my property had left the business and my buyer had gone on holiday without putting a mortgage in place. Reeds Rains never proactively informed me of either of these things. When I complained about their bad service the Sales Associate was rude told me 'it wasn't her job to give me updates on the sale' and that it was my solicitor's responsibility. The Branch Manager simply said 'he took everything on board' but never actively did anything to manage the situation. They also made several error on official documentation and never provided me with written details of all viewings and offers.They made the process difficult and stressful so I ended up contact my buyer directly so that I could complete the sale as Reeds Rains offered me no assistance. Reeds Rains are one of the most expensive estate agents in Hull and from the service I received the only way they helped was to post my property on the property marketplace websites - something most estate agents do to sell a property. If you are considering selling your property in the future please help yourself and use a local estate agents, not this national company. Their fees will be less and you will probably get a better service.

Useless

Useless company treat you like your in the wrong.Send builders round who dont do the jobs right the first time and some that treat your house and things with no respect and then they wonder why your angry.Saying they are ringing or coming round and don't turn up.I emailed them yesterday as I've water coming through the kitchen ceiling and down the wall.A contractor will ring you stayed in all day no phone call nothing.I look after the house but the agents don't look after me.I am vulrenable with health issues,damp cold house no help.Date of experience try 4 yrs
