agreed to rent a house that a king size bed and a massive american style fridge freezer. Both were broke already and replaced with cheap small equivalents. Couldnt move in straight away because there were no blinds and we had to argue to get them. Walls were damaged by removal men taking the fridge. Moved out and they took £210 of our deposit for cleaning and decorating. Place was left as we got it. Worst rental experience I ever had.

I have been using Michael Chandler Estate Agents for several years, for both the rental and management of my properties and I can honestly say that the rental team are brilliant. Lauren, Daniel and Grace are worth their weight in gold. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The marketing photos always highlight the properties in their best possible light - whilst still maintaining an accurate representation. There is regular communication between the agents and myself throughout the course of each tenancy. Their extensive knowledge of the local rental markets mean that each time a property is relisted it is always re-let in a swift and timely manner. Both the check-in and exit inspections are always photographed thoroughly and the reports highlighting the condition of each room are always very detailed. I could not ask for a better rental team to look after my properties. 5*.

I would really highly recommend Michael Chandler estate agents. We sold our house with them recently, and also used them to secure a rental as a stop gap while we search for our next home. The team in both the sales and rental department are friendly, professional, very efficient, and went above and beyond to provide a 1st class service. The marketing material they produced (especially the video) for the sale of our house was some of the best marketing I’ve seen out there (and I’ve seen a lot over the last 6 months while searching for a new home). Stuart was amazing throughout the whole process. Unfortunately there were some delays with the sale due to the chain, but he was always on top of things, keeping the momentum going. I was also very impressed with Grace, Ann and Lauren in the rental department. They were very knowledgeable about any of the properties I saw, and sounded like they had great relationships with all the landlords. Lauren got a deal done on the property we ended up going with in a matter of hours. Great team of people to work with, which is invaluable during such a stressful process!

Buying our first home was a very daunting experience. Chris has been amazing throughout the entire process. We had a really horrible solicitor who turned this into a massive ordeal but Chris was incredibly supportive every time we hit rock bottom. I have no intentions of ever buying another house again (I am still processing the stress of moving into the last one) but if I had to, I would hope to have Chris as my estate agent again. I cannot recommend him highly enough. 10/10

I couldn’t recommend Michael Chandler Estate Agents highly enough. I’ve been using them for several years to manage a rental property on my behalf, and the service has been excellent from start to finish. They are extremely professional, efficient, and a real pleasure to deal with. Communication is always clear and timely, and they proactively monitored the property throughout the tenancy. From the outset they found excellent tenants who really looked after the property, and whenever maintenance was required it was organised swiftly with reliable tradespeople. They’ve also been very good at keeping me up to date with changing legislation, giving plenty of notice and guidance to ensure the property stayed compliant. All in all, a first-class service from a very professional and personable team.
