GoogleWe arrived at 9am to collect our keys, assuming they would be ready as we were told to pick them up that day. Since no specific time was given, we thought they’d be prepared when the office opened. However, the staff were rude and dismissive, telling us we needed wait for a phone call. As a result, we ended up waiting around Belfast until 5pm for the ‘cleaners’ to finish. When we finally got the keys and checked the house, we were horrified. It was in a completely unacceptable state. There was thick grease left on the kitchen surfaces, bugs in the cupboards, sticky floors, and the bedrooms were full of leftover items like fake nails and socks from previous tenants. One mattress had mould on it, making it unsafe to sleep on, forcing my friend and me to share a bed on our first night. To have us waiting about belfast for hours with no belongings for cleaners that can’t to their job is unacceptable. We ended up cleaning until 2am to sort the house out. In October or November, the radiator in my room broke. I emailed for assistance after my family member couldn’t fix it, and a plumber was sent out. However, he only partially repaired it, leaving the radiator on full heat and unable to change the temperature. After following up with several emails asking when it would be fixed, I was given multiple dates, but the issue was still unresolved by the end of January, when I returned after Christmas. I had to chase them several more times before the issue was addressed, meaning our oil was wasted, and we had to purchase an extra tank unnecessarily. The way they handle rent payments is also highly unprofessional. Most months, after we’ve paid, we receive emails saying they haven’t received the payment and asking us to prove we’ve sent it, including the account details. Each time, they provide a different account to send the payment to. These emails cause unnecessary anxiety, making us worry that we’ve sent the money to the wrong account or risk losing it. To make matters worse, the tone of these emails is rude, as though we are at fault, despite the fact they could have simply checked for a few extra minutes to locate our transaction. The most recent email we received was asking us for our rent payment that we had already sent. We received many of emails giving us a different account to send it to, and asking where we sent our deposit to? Which was paid in September. However, they then realised that it was the wrong person. This caused excessive amounts of stress and bother for no reason.

Cathryn has been always very professional and supportive of any practical issue. She is very patient and very helpful. She has been facilitating me moving in and out. She has been also very helpful in providing administrative documentation and records. I would strongly recommend to rent with her and the company she rapresents.

GoogleI have worked with Giant Property now for 8 years. They help us let a total of 40 properties that we have across Belfast. Chris and his team are excellent to work with. I work with estate agents in Spain, France, England and Scotland and have never come across as good a team. Their attention to detail, willingness to get involved, timely and accurate communication coupled with sound advice in managing and letting our estate mark them out as one of the best agents I have ever worked with. I would strongly recommend them.

GoogleI have rented an 1-bedeoom apartment via Giant Property in Belfast for the last 3 years. Chris helped me find this flat literally in one day when I was struggling to find a place to live with my puppy, and move-in process was very quick and smooth. They responded and helped me promptly every time I had issues with the flat. I would hate to leave the place but it is now time to move on as I am moving to a different city. I'd like to thank Chris, Kelly, Cathryn and all other staff at Gianty Property for their amazing support and assistance the last 3 years. All the best to the team! Sue

GoogleSTAY AWAY!! This will be my 4th year as a student in Belfast. GIANT Property is hands down the worst agency I dealt with in Belfast. The staff are poorly trained, slow and lazy. Everything is an effort for them and the response time is ridiculous. Our lights downstairs fused, leaving us in darkness for 3 weeks until they sent someone out to fix the problem...after we refused to pay rent until the problem was fixed. I’d rate lower than one star if I could.

GoogleAvoid if you can!! Especially rude woman under window on the right. Poor customer service. Renting room for 9 months. They called it "apartment". No bin for rubish. No hot water in kitchen. Neighbours were leaving rubbish on corridor. When at the end of agreement I came to say that I can't renew rent, moving out, they say I have pay half rent more. When you finish paying credit, the bank doesn't ask for extra half monthly rate, am I right? 11 days after end agreement and still waiting for deposit!!

GoogleWhen I dealt with Giant Property in 2013/14 I had nothing but professional service. Chris and his team went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and that my tenancy was being looked after. They were extremely helpful in dealing with a difficult issue with my landlord at the time and regardless of these other reviews on here I found Giant to be a great company to deal with.

GoogleI rarely had any good interactions with GP. They consistently mess up my contract, details are wrong, and they play arrogant and hurt when I point out their sloppy work. One GP associate in recent memory was even rude. After pointing out inaccuracies and ambiguity in their contact document, they straight got angry with me. Normal contract says I need to buy a TV license, but I have no TV, so I asked them to re-word it to reflect that I don't have to buy anything - they refused. The other was small pet allowance that was approved by the landlord. I wanted it to be reflecting in the contract - they refused. In other times they just gave my keys to a random handyman without consulting with me - I noticed it when the handymen used the key to barge into the apartment without prior consultation. In my 2 years I only needed 2 work done on the property, a window handle change (where they gave my keys away) and a tap change - that only happened after several follow-up mails.. Property managers are, in general not on tenant's side, but I'd avoid GP at all costs.. Their continued incompetence, and complete lack of empathy or understanding made them one of the worse people I ever have to do business with.

They were especially accommodating when we had some complications with changing tenants on the agreement, and laid things out in a clear and helpful manner. My time renting with Giant was very pleasant, I would happily recommend them to anyone who is renting. Five stars!

GoogleHave been a renting a property for the past year and a half with Giant property and all interactions with them have been delightful. Everyone in the office is very quick to respond to emails and very professional over the phone. Any issue or repair that needs done is carried out and handled promptly. Would highly recommend!

GoogleI was in a property managed by Giant in Belfast for two years. I was lucky to have a decent landlord as giant themselves were useless. Calls, emails and promised followups were always ignored so I deferred to dealing with my landlord directly when possible. When it came time to leave the property, Giant claimed I didn't gve them my 1 months notice, they wanted me to pay another months rent. I had to refer them to an email a few emails prior in the same email chain. The employee I dealt with at the time continued to be completely rude and dismissive the whole time. When I was out then began the whole hassle of chasing them for my deposit. They missed releasing my funds via the NI tenancy deposit scheme multiple times, requiring me to restart the process multiple times until they would finally respond to the deposit release request before the deadline elapsed. Avoid them at all costs if possible
