GoogleAbsolutely poor from the get go. My girlfriend fell pregnant and as soon as she found out we got cracking with trying to get a house. We thought we would surley have a house before the baby came but we didn’t even get a mortgage in principle. 10 months and still didn’t get no where. We did everything they asked of us and did everything as quick as we could. I now have a 3 month old baby living with my parents because we don’t have a home. We have started the process again with another company and it’s took them 2 weeks to get us further than what we got with these guys. Absolutely joke of a company and the people handling our mortgage didn’t have any sympathy at all for our situation. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AND WILL NEVER FORGIVE THEM.

GoogleOnly dealt with the Beeston branch 6 times and most of the time, I was palmed off. 1. I had a call to get booked with for a property in the LS10 area. I got booked in for it but When I asked about another property I was interested in, the woman on the phone said the owners already had offers and wasn’t open to any more viewings. I was gutted but moved on but only to find an hour later to get another call to get booked in for a viewing for that very property, so I was confused. Turned out it was the Pudsey branch that deal with LS13, so the first woman from the Beeston branch lied to me on the phone. Marvellous. 2. When I went to visit the LS10 property, I liked it and the man who showed us round was lovely. However, when I went to get booked in and see the property the second time, it turned out the estate agent, Lucy triple booked us with two other families. I wasn’t aware, so this was very off putting, especially when the estate agent was late and I had to ring head office to check I had the right time and if the viewing was still going ahead. When Lucy showed us around, she left us all to wonder, so minimum effort was put into actually showing us around. She could also barely answer any questions people had and gave me vague answers. I asked about the mould and damp of the house, to which she didn’t even know about but asked if owners would repair this. She didn’t even give an answer. 3. Lucy rang the next day to ask for feedback. I warned her off the red flags I thought throughout the property but gave an offer, to which she said was too low but she would put it on file for the future, meaning she wasn’t going to speak to the owners about it because it was so “low”. I quickly fired back to say if the owners sort out the damp, mould and replaced the broken window/s, I would more likely to offer the asking price but yet again, she gave the impression that she wasn’t even going to speak to the owners. So fair play, I’ll highly likely not use this branch and hope I don’t have any more dealings with them nor will I hope they taint the other Manning Staintons if staff are not so friendly and behave like this. It’s probably a blessing in disguise.
